With the announcement of the SWAYAM July result 2024 by the National Testing Agency, many students may wonder what SWAYAM pass marks out of 100 is. The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) has announced the passing marks for SWAYAM result 2024 to be 40% or above. Candidates are required to score a minimum of 10 out of 25% in the assignment and 30 out of 75% in the written examination to qualify. Students can initiate the SWAYAM login at swayam13.ntaonline.in to check the results.
The SWAYAM passing marks vary based on the programme chosen by the candidates. For the SWAYAM minimum passing marks required for general is 40%. For assignments, the minimum passing mark required is 25%. The SWAYAM written exam passing marks is 75%.

Generally, students are required to secure 40 marks as SWAYAM pass mark. Those who secure the SWAYAM qualifying marks are eligible to download SWAYAM certificate.
There are two parts in the SWAYAM certification process, the weekly assessments and the final exam. The SWAYAM weekly assessments hold 25% weightage and the the final exam holds 75% weightage in the final marking process.

Students enrolled in SWAYAM programmes are required to submit the weekly assessments regularly till the duration of their chosen courses. Those who fail to score the minimum SWAYAM weekly assessment marks required would not be allowed to download SWAYAM certificate. The SWAYAM assessment passing marks is 40%, which is 10 out of 25% marks.
At the end of the course duration, all the enrolled students are required to appear for the written exam to complete their course. Candidates are required to secure the SWAYAM written exam passing marks to qualify for the programme. The SWAYAM passing marks for written exam is 40%, which is 30 out of 75% marks.
Based on the performance in the weekly assessments and written exam students are provided with grades at the end of the course. Each course has a specific number of credits assigned to it, and the final grade for the course is determined by the weighted average of all the assessments undertaken during the programme.
