    Must be a permanent resident of Odisha.

    Language Proficiency

    Must have passed H.S.C. (10th) or equivalent with Odia as a Modern Indian Language (MIL).

    Children of Central/State Government employees serving in Odisha, or children of OUAT employees, are eligible regardless of residency

    Physical Standards

    For B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry only:

    • Min. Height: ~163 cm (Male), ~150 cm (Female)

    • Fitness Test: Must pass a mandatory walking test

    OUAT Reservation Policy 2026

    The candidates are required to check the OUAT reservation criteria before applying for admission. For the students belonging to the reserved categories, admissions are exempted by 8% from the minimum percentage required. Every participating university follows the rules governed by the Government of India for the reservation policy. If any candidate fails to produce the legitimacy of the OUAT reservation claims, then his/her admissions will be denied by the participating universities.
