For the academic session 2024-25, Jawaharlal Nehru University will accept the CUET-UG scores for admission to BA (Hons.) in foreign languages, school of Sanskrit and Indic Studies. B. Sc - M. UG Programmes

Each of the courses has different eligibility criteria for admissions. To be eligible for admission, one must fulfil all the criteria as laid down by the respective departments of the University.


For all the courses mentioned below, the CUET score will be considered for admission from the academic year 2024-25.


B.A (Hons) Language Courses: Candidate must not be less than 17 years of age and must have passed Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks.


B. Sc - M. Sc Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology: Candidate must not be less than 17 years of age and must have passed Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks.


B.Tech - M. Tech: Based on JEE Mains

MA

Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 patterns from this university or any other recognised university with at least 50% marks.

MSc Life Sciences

Candidates should have completed B.Sc./B.Tech or Equivalent in Biological/Physical/Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology from any recognised Institute/ university with a minimum 55 percent aggregate marks.


JNU CUET 2024 Exam Pattern

Following is the complete CUET exam pattern 2024 for UG/ PG admissions test:

  • Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted through CBT mode (Computer Based Test).

  • Duration: The duration of the exam is - Slot 1: 2 Hours, Slot 2: 2 Hours, Slot 3: 3 hours

  • Medium: The CUET paper is being conducted in 13 languages.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark will be given for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking.
  • Type of Questions: The question paper contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

  • Number of questions: There are a total of 100 questions in the paper.

JNU CUET PG Exam Pattern 2024

For phD Course in JNU 2023 , the last date of application was december 8, 2023. The exam will be held in may 2024.

Now application forms for phD will be released in December 2024 for which enteanxe exam will be held in April or May 2025.

Admission procedure for phD in political science in Hawaharksl Nehru university  for the year 2024 is as follows

Eligibility-

The candidate must be of 21 years old ( minimum), the candidate must have secured minimum 55 % marks in master's Course,  If you want to pursue phD in political science then you must have master's degree in political science with 55% .

Entrance exam -

There will be held a written test ,

Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship offers a two-year MBA programme. General, OBC (NCL), and EWS category candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) can apply for admission to the MBA programme.

Candidates seeking admission to the programme must submit the application online at the JNU website, and must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) post which JNU will shortlist candidates for GDPI process based on the CAT score. The final merit list of will be based on CAT score and marks obtained by candidates in the GDPI.

After the completion of the first two semesters, students are required to undergo summer training in an organisation. JNU has a placement cell which helps students to get placed in reputed companies.
