Candidates appearing for Common University Entrance Test UG are required to submit the CUET UG registration Fees 2026 before the deadline to complete the registration process. Students can pay the CUET UG 2026 fee payment by visiting the official website at cuet.nta.nic.in. The CUET UG application fees is Rs 1000 for general category students for choosing upto three subjects, and Rs 400 for choosing every additional papers.
Various online payment methods such as online methods such as net-banking, debit card, credit card, UPI or Wallet can be used to pay the fees for the CUET UG exam. No CUET UG application 2026 will be submitted without the payment of fees. The CUET UG form for which the fees are not paid will be cancelled after the deadline. Students are not allowed to pay the CUET UG 2026 form fees in any form of offline modes such as cash, demand draft or cheque. The CUET UG 2026 registration fees has not increased, as compared to last year. The CUET UG form fees for general category students in 2025 was Rs 1000. Whereas, the fees for OBC-NCL/ Gen-EWS form fees was Rs 900. The CUET UG fees for SC/ST/ third gender/ PwD students was Rs 800 and students outside india were required to pay Rs 4500, for choosing upto three subjects. Students from unreserved categories are required to pay Rs 1000 as CUET UG registration fees, for choosing up to three subjects in the exam. For every additional paper, they are required to pay Rs 400 as additional CUET UG fees.
The NTA has decided CUET UG form fees for OBC-NCL and general EWS candidates to Rs 900 for choosing up to three subjects, with an additional Rs 375 fees for any additional papers of CUET UG 2026.
Aspirants who belong to SC, ST or third-gender categories are required to pay Rs 800 as CUET UG registration fees. To choose any additional papers SC, ST and third gender category students are required to pay Rs 350 extra.
Students who would appear in CUET UG 2026 in any of the 15 exam centres outside India are required to pay Rs 4500 for choosing up to three subjects. For opting any additional paper in CUET UG 2026, outside India students are required to pay Rs 1800 extra per paper.
The NTA allows the students to pay their CUET UG 2026 fees in various online modes. Candidates can pay their CUET UG registration fees by using debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI or through supported e-wallet.
Note: Please be aware that students can not pay the CUET UG registration fees in any offline mode such as demand draft, bank challan or cash.
