How does Normalisation Affect CUET 2026 Score
NTA uses the normalisation method to equalize the CUET UG 2026 scores. Candidates appear in multiple shifts with varied difficulty levels. The normalisation affects CUET UG 2026 score in three broad ways:
Candidates with a difficult CUET UG 2026 exam shift might score lower raw marks. This will lead to a higher normalised score
Candidates with an easier CUET UG 2026 exam shift might score higher raw marks. These candidates might get a lower percentile than raw scores to maintain fairness.
In case of a tie in percentile, NTA breaks the tie by calculating the normalised score up to seven decimal places.
