Vadodara-based Parul University Ayurveda Hospital, through its Madhavbaug unit, witnessed significant success in integrative Ayurvedic healthcare as it has successfully transformed the life of Mrs. Arpitaben Mayankbhai Patel, a 51-year-old patient battling Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus for over a decade. Within just one week of comprehensive Ayurvedic treatment, she was able to eliminate her dependency on insulin entirely.

Mrs. Arpitaben had been living with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus for over 11 years. Her routine involved daily insulin injections (15 IU) along with regular allopathic medication. She approached the Madhavbaug Unit at Parul Ayurved Hospital for Ayurvedic intervention in search of a long-term solution. Under the care of expert Ayurvedic physicians, she was admitted for a 7-day inpatient program that included Panchakarma therapies, oral Ayurvedic medicines, yogic practices, pranayama, personalized diet, and mild physical exercises. The treatment was structured to detoxify, rejuvenate, and naturally regulate her blood sugar levels. A rapid and measurable improvement was seen from the very first day. On the first day, her sugar levels dropped enough to allow doctors to taper her insulin dose to 8 IU. By Day 4, her insulin was stopped entirely. At the time of discharge, her oral medication was also reduced. Today, one month post-treatment, Mrs. Patel continues to maintain normal blood sugar levels without any insulin.
