The National Testing Agency has opened the CUET UG 2025 portal on May 16 for PwBD students to enter details for scribes. Students who fall under PwD category can enter their scribe details till May 19 at nta.ac.in. The scribe is a person who helps a candidate enter their answers during the CUET 2025 exam.
The agency allows the PwBD candidates to choose their scribes by filling out their details before the exam. Candidates who are unable to enter their answers due to physical limitations can fill out the details of their preferred scribes in order to be allowed to bring them to the exam centre. Scribes who are not registered before the exam will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

Log in using your Application Number and Password
On the candidate homepage, click on the 'Register Scribe Details' button
Select the appropriate scribe option and enter the required scribe details.
Once submitted, the details will appear under:
'View Application Form' (on the left side of the homepage) and on the Confirmation Page.
Note: The option will be visible only to candidates who opted to bring their own scribe and chose to provide details during CUET exam city intimation.
A scribe is allowed for candidates with a benchmark disability (40% or more of a specified disability), if they have difficulty writing and request the facility.

To be a scribe, the person needs to have a qualification one step lower than the examinee. The candidate must fill out their scribe application using the form in Appendix-IX (Letter of Undertaking) which is available align with the registration form. Students who fall under PwD and PwBD categories can either bring their own scribe or request for one to the NTA.
Note: If the scribe is allotted by the NTA, students can meet their scribe two days prior to the exam to check for suitability.
Candidates using a scribe in CUET 2025 will get at least 20 extra minutes per hour of the exam. Students are advised to notify the invigilators for the additional time.
Students must enter their PwD/PwBD details carefully.
Students must upload a scanned copy of your PwD/PwBD/UDID certificate in PDF format
The PwD/ PwBD status you enter will be treated as final. No changes will be allowed after the form is submitted or after the NTA Score is declared.
Students who submit false documents or claim disability benefits without being eligible, your admission will be cancelled.
