The university has released the merit list for all the B.A Hons. programmes on July 12 and M. A. programmes on July 04, 2019 in online mode. Earlier, the merit list of Jadavpur University 2019 was released for B. Sc. programmes in online mode on July 1. The merit list contains the category-wise roll numbers of the candidates, their names, percentage of aggregate marks obtained in Honours examination (BA), Written Test Marks (WTM) and candidates' scores. The candidates can check the pdf files of all the B. Sc and B. A. programmes whose merit lists have been announced by the university.

As candidates scroll down a bit, they will find official links to provisional merit lists given separately for different courses.
Candidates need to find the respective link for the subject they want to check the merit list for.
Then, they will have to click on that link and the merit list will open in a new window in PDF format.

The admissions of candidates are subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria, verification of equivalence of marks/degrees from other boards/universities, correction in the result of Jadavpur University 2019/merit list (if any).
If a candidate’s result is found to be incomplete, his/her admissions will be cancelled. This holds true for students applying for undergraduate courses.
Candidates applying for postgraduate courses and have yet not got their graduation result will have to submit a certificate in a prescribed format stating that they have completed all the exams of graduation before June 9, 2019. They should be able to submit their mark sheet by September 14, 2019, and migration certificate within one year of admission.
Candidates who are enrolled in other undergraduate programmes in the current session will have to furnish a withdrawal/cancellation certificate on the day of admission within seven days of admissions.
Candidates who are enrolled in other undergraduate courses in the previous sessions will have to submit a deregistering certificate.
Those who have completed their graduation in or before 2018 will have to furnish an affidavit.
Candidates who had written incorrect marks in the online application form will be revised and the merit list will be revised accordingly.
But revision/increase in marks of the qualifying examination by the concerned university will not be considered by Jadavpur University while preparing the merit list.
All admissions will be provisional.
Separate intimations will not be sent to candidates.
Candidates can take admissions in only one course.

The average package offered for students in Jadavpur University differs from branch to branch .For instance if you compare the civil engineering and the electronics and communication engineering there is a lot difference .For civil engineering the average package is offered around 4 LPA and for electronic it is around 8-9 LPA. Last year the CSE at jadavpur university closed at rank 166 for general category. So, you need to get very high marks in order to get it.
