As per the official notification, IGNOU June 2025 assignment last date is extended to May 31. Students appearing for IGNOU June 2025 term end examination are required to submit their assignments within the scheduled deadline to be eligible for the exam. The university only accepts IGNOU assignments in offline mode. Students are required to visit their allotted study centre and submit their assignments to the centre coordinator.
Students are only allowed to submit handwritten copies of IGNOU assignments. Printed copies of IGNOU June assignments will not be accepted.
Marks in IGNOU assignments are essential to qualify in the term end exam. The IGNOU assignment marks hold 30% weightage, without which the grade card status will remain incomplete.
Most subjects offered by IGNOU do not require students to submit practical assignments. But there are subjects like Psychology papers (e.g. BPCC 131, BPCC 134 etc) that require students to submit practical and tutorial files along with their assignments. Students are advised to check their assignment question paper thoroughly to get a better idea if they need to write practicals separately.

After completing the assignment students have the option to submit their assignments in offline mode. In some courses the university allows students to submit their projects and dissertations in online mode. Students can submit their IGNOU June assignments either through postal services addressed towards the coordinator of their designated study centre or by visiting the centre in person and submit. Note: Students are strongly advised to submit their IGNOU assignments in person and collect the assignment submission slip. THe submission slip may come handy in case any errors happen during marks updation in your IGNOU grade card.

The University usually accepts the IGNOU assignments till one month prior to the TEE date. Students are strongly encouraged to submit their IGNOU assignments within the last date. If any students miss the deadline under any unforeseen circumstances, they are advised to visit their study centres as early as possible and write a written application addressed to the centre coordinator requesting consideration in the situation.
