There are three options to reset the CUET UG password that provided by the NTA. It is up to the candidates to decide which method suits them best. Candidates must note that to retrieve the CUET UG password, they must require to enter their application number in all three options. The CUET UG application number is printed on the confirmation page. The CUET UG password reset options are explained below:

• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile number

• Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address

How to Reset the CUET UG Password?

• Option 1: Reset Password Using Security Question and its Answer

Candidates will have to provide their CUET UG application number, the security question as selected during the time of registration, and the corresponding answer provided during registration along with the captcha code.

• Option 2: Use a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.

To use this method, candidates have to enter their application number, date of birth and CAPTCHA code. Then, the verification code will be send to the registered mobile number as an SMS.

• Option 3: Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address

They will have to enter their application number of CUET UG 2025, registered email address, and captcha code.

CUET UG Password Guidelines

Candidates may change their passwords after logging in if they wish. Candidates should remember to log out at the end of their session to ensure that their details are not tampered with or altered by unauthorised persons. The password should be created according to the following principles. The CUET password should be minimum of 8 and maximum of 13 characters long. The CUET UG password should contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one numeric value and one special character, e.g.!@#$%^&*.
