Chitkara University Startups Take Their Innovations to Microsoft and IIM Lucknow in 2026

Chitkara University recently provided a significant platform for its student entrepreneurs by enabling them to showcase their startups before industry leaders, investors, and academic experts at Microsoft India’s Gurugram office and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. Through the Global Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program (GEIP), organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education & Development (CEED), 24 student-led startups presented innovative solutions across sectors such as Artificial Intelligence, Agritech, HealthTech, Sustainability, Enterprise Technology, and Fashion. The initiative aimed to provide founders with expert mentorship, industry feedback, networking opportunities, and valuable insights to strengthen their ventures and accelerate their entrepreneurial journeys.

As India's startup ecosystem continues to expand, universities are increasingly playing an important role in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship. Chitkara University has consistently focused on creating opportunities that allow students to transform ideas into scalable businesses.

The startup pitching sessions at Microsoft India offered participants direct interaction with Microsoft's Startup & Investment Team. Student founders presented their products, business models, and growth strategies while receiving expert guidance on various aspects of startup development.
