Scholarship types are:

1. Merit-based scholarships

• Given based on Class 12 marks for UG courses.

• Given based on graduation marks for PG courses.

• For B.Tech, scholarships are also based on JEE Main score.

• Fee waiver can be 100% or 50% , depending on marks.

2. Entrance exam based scholarships

• Available for students with good scores in exams like JEE Main, CLAT, CUET, etc.

3. Sports scholarship

• For students with good performance at state or national level sports.

4. Martyr’s scholarship

• For wards of martyrs.

Important points:

• Scholarships are usually for the first year only .

• Continuation depends on academic performance.

• Hostel and mess fees are not covered.

• Students must apply for scholarship at the time of admission
