Vadodara-based Parul University observed its 77th Republic Day celebration through patriotic festivities that took place on its campus to mark the adoption of the Indian Constitution, which serves as the foundation of Indian democratic principles.
The celebration commenced with the National Flag at the Parul University Circle, which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The ceremony brought together university leaders and faculty members, along with students and staff who showed their united pride and respect for the nation.

The march past by the NCC cadets added more grandeur to the day as it displayed unity, integrity and organisation, which reflects Parul University’s dedication to disciplined educational practices. The celebration also included an energetic display of cultural performances, which featured patriotic songs and dances and thematic presentations. Students displayed India’s cultural diversity through their performances, which demonstrated messages about national unity, selfless service and social harmony.

The Chief Guest, Lt. General Shokin Chauhan (Retd.), delivered a speech to the audience highlighting the essential nature of constitutional values and discipline and national duty. He stated, “The strength of India lies in its disciplined, value-driven youth to inspire young people to dedicate themselves to their country through honest and dedicated service. The nation will achieve secure progress when young people receive guidance through purpose, courageous behavior and their responsibilities.”
Dr Parul Patel, Vice- President of Parul University, in her address, explained how Republic Day serves as a reminder of India’s democratic foundations and shared national duties. She said, “At Parul University, we believe education should produce both qualified professionals and dedicated citizens who will protect constitutional values while making beneficial contributions to their communities and the nation, according to her.”
The celebrations ended with Parul University promising to be united in working towards a stronger, inclusive, and progressive India.
