Osmania University has decided to conduct the degree examinations for undergraduate programmes in the second week of June. The university will release the official notification in the coming one or two days.
“The postgraduate programme examination is likely to commence in the month of July as the OU administration is working on finalizing the exam dates,” said Dr. Sriram Venkatesh, controller of examinations, Osmania University.
“If the need arises, we will increase the number of centers and ensure that in the examination halls more physical distance is practiced,” said Dr Venkatesh
Dr. Ch. Gopal Reddy, registrar, OU said “We will not conduct online exams, since a large population of students belong to rural areas. It will not be easy for them to access the internet or infrastructure to appear for online examinations. This is a tentative plan, but we are preparing to hold the semester exams soon,” reports Deccan Chronicle.
The university is looking ahead to go with the plan of conducting entrance examinations on sundays also, in order to compensate for the loss of days due to lockdown.
The examination schedule will depend on the decision of the government in the view of COVID-19 outbreak.
The students have to pay the examination fee and fill the examination form by June 10. They will also be allowed to complete the same till June 16, with a late fee of Rs 200. The exam fee is exempted for blind, physically disabled and deaf and dumb students.
The summer vacations have also been advanced for PG programmes such as M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, MBA, M.PEd, MCJ, MA and M.Lib.Sc from May 11 to June 7. The vacations were earlier scheduled for June 1 to June 30.

Hello
Osmania University offers a 6-year Pharm.D program through EAMCET (TS EAPCET) counselling.
The cutoff rank varies each year based on category, seat availability, and demand.
In general, OC category cutoff ranges between 1,000 to 4,000 ranks in TS EAPCET.
BC, SC, and ST categories may get admission at slightly higher ranks (up to 10,000+).
Cutoffs for Pharm.D are usually higher than B.Pharm due to limited seats.
Official cutoffs are released on the TS EAPCET counselling portal, not Osmania University’s site.
For accurate data, check the latest TS EAPCET seat allotment results or contact the university.
Firstly, congratulations on securing state rank 35 in TG CPGET. With such a strong rank, your chances of getting admission into Osmania University for M.Sc. Zoology are quite good, especially since OU is one of the top preferences for many students. Being from the BCE category further increases your chances because reserved category cutoffs generally extend much beyond this rank. However, the final allotment will depend on the number of seats available, competition, and preferences filled during counseling. Still, with rank 35, you can be confident about getting a seat in OU, provided you complete the admission process carefully and attend counseling on time.
Hey Khursheed:)
Thanks for reaching out!
With a 189 rank in TS LAWCET under BC-E your chances depends on the course .For the 3-year LLB at Osmaina University, the round 1 cutoff was around 210,so your rank is well within range and you still stand a good chance of getting a seat in the next rounds if not allotted. But for 5-year LLB course, the cut-off was around 100, which means 189 is outside the limit and Osmania is not within reach.
Keep Osmaina on top of your web options for the 3-year program in phase-2,but also select other good colleges as backups so you don't miss out on admission.

All the best!
Hey! With your TS LAWCET 2025 rank of 189, being a BC-E category and a local candidate, you have a very good chance of getting admission in Osmania University College of Law for the 5-year LLB program. Generally, for BC-E candidates, the cutoff ranks are higher compared to general category, and being a local candidate adds an extra advantage under the home-state quota. Based on previous trends, your rank is well within the expected range for this category. Of course, the exact seat allotment will depend on the counseling rounds and seat availability, but overall, you are in a strong position. I would recommend keeping track of the official counseling dates, applying on time, and participating actively in the process to ensure you secure a seat. Given your rank and category, chances are very favorable for you to join this college.
Hello,
If you join a self-finance MBA course , you will not get full fee reimbursement . For SC/ST students, the government gives full fee reimbursement only in regular (non-self-finance) courses .
In self-finance courses, you may get only a partial reimbursement (around Rs. 35,000) and the rest of the fee has to be paid by you.
Since you are SC and a girl with rank 966, you can get admission easily, but full fee reimbursement will apply only if you choose a regular seat, not self-finance .
Hope it helps !
