    NCET Question Paper 2026: The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the National Council for Teacher Education. Qualifying in NCET is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by selected Central and State universities and institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and government colleges, for the academic session 2026–27.

    NCET Question Papers 2026

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2026 across multiple centres in India on 17 April 2026 and will continue the examination on 18 April 2026 in CBT mode. The exam held on 17 April was conducted in two shifts: Shift 1 (09:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and Shift 2 (03:00 PM to 06:00 PM), both of which have now concluded. The NCET 2026 question paper, answer key, analysis, and memory-based questions will be made available here soon, helping candidates understand the latest exam pattern, marking scheme, and overall difficulty level.

    NCET Question Papers 2026: Important Highlights

    • Shift 1 paper was easy to moderate, Shift 2 was moderate to hard
    • Shift 2 was tougher than Shift 1, so normalisation will matter
    • General Test (GT) was the most important and toughest section in both shifts
    • Quantitative Aptitude was time-consuming in Shift 1 and difficult in Shift 2
    • Languages (Hindi, English Communication) were easy and scoring in both shifts
    • English Literature was moderate in Shift 1 and tricky + lengthy in Shift 2
    • Teaching Aptitude was easy to moderate and scoring in both shifts
    • Physics stayed moderate, needs concept clarity
    • Chemistry was easy to moderate, mostly scoring
    • Mathematics was easy to moderate but time-consuming in both shifts
    • Biology was easy and scoring
    • History and Geography were easy to moderate overall
    • Political Science was easy to moderate, Economics mostly easy
    • B.Com domain was easy overall
    • Paper was balanced, but difficulty increased in Shift 2
    • Time management was the biggest challenge across both shifts
    • Students could attempt more questions in Shift 1, but needed careful selection in Shift 2
    • Accuracy + smart attempts mattered more than just high attempts
    • GT performance will likely decide rank and cutoff

    • Overall, the paper level was easy to moderate
    • Hindi Language and Literature (23 questions) was very easy
    • Hindi for Communication was easy
    • English Language and Literature was moderate
    • English for Communication was easy
    • Sanskrit was easy
    • Teaching Aptitude was easy with straightforward questions
    • General Test was easy overall, but the Quantitative Aptitude was tough and time-consuming
