Step 1: Go to the CMI website - cmi.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the CMI registration link available on the website homepage.
Step 3: Register yourself to the CMI registration portal by entering a valid, activated phone number and email address and other required details.
Step 4: Log into the CMI registration portal by using the login credentials that you generated during the registration process.
Step 5: Fill in personal details including your name, date of birth, father’s name, address, contact details, qualifications and category.
Step 7: Now upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph and signature.
Step 8: Click on the “Submit” button. You will be redirected to the new page.
Step 9: The new page requires candidates to pay the fees for CMI entrance exam registration.
Step 10: Use one of the available payment options UPI/net banking/credit or debit card to make payment for the CMI application form 2025.
Step 11: A payment acknowledgement form will be generated. Candidates should download the page, fill out the CMI entrance exam application form and take a few printouts for future reference.

You will reach the CMI application form homepage.
Click on the “UG application form 2025” or “PG application form 2025” (select the form for the course for which you have applied).
Add your registered email address to generate login particulars.
Enter your application ID and password.
Now, you can revise all details mentioned in the application form make corrections to it and select the exam centre.
Click on the “Save” button to correct the details and exit.
Candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 1000 after completing the CMI application process.
Candidates may forget their CMI password, which may cause them difficulties in completing the further steps in their CMI admission process 2025. They can retrieve the password by using the following steps.

Candidates should ensure they do not select two courses, namely B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computer Science and B.Sc (Hons.) in Mathematics and Physics. One of the two courses can be selected after the CMI admission 2025 process while filling up the CMI 2025 entrance exam form. However, the CMI entrance exam will be the same for the two courses.
