    Adamas University, Kolkata is a private university which was established in the year 2014. The university has been approved by several regulatory authorities including UGC (University Grants Commission), BCI (Bar Council of India), PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and more. Some of the major Adamas University programmes include BTech, Ph.D, MBA and many more.

    Careers360: Please briefly introduce yourself and share the programme you are currently pursuing at Adamas University.

    Hasiba Ilma: My name is Hasiba Ilma, and I am currently pursuing a BCom programme under the School of Business at Adamas University.

    Careers360: What were the reasons that motivated you to choose Adamas University for your future studies?

    Hasiba Ilma: The university’s good infrastructure and qualified faculty members were the key factors that motivated me to choose Adamas University for my future studies.

    Careers360: What makes the campus environment supportive and inclusive?

    Hasiba Ilma: The faculty members and the welcoming environment make the campus supportive and inclusive, providing the students with opportunities to learn and grow.

    Careers360: How accessible are the faculty members when students need help with studies, projects, or career guidance?

    Hasiba Ilma: Faculty members at the Adamas University are very supportive and help us at any point in our career. They genuinely care for us and our future.

    Careers360: If you are a hosteller, how has your hostel experience been?

    Hasiba Ilma: My hostel experience at the university is mediocre. The facilities are nice but I wish the food was better and the utensils more hygienic

    Careers360: What kind of extracurricular activities, clubs, or student organisations are available on campus?

    Hasiba Ilma: There are many extracurricular activities, clubs that are available on the campus. I am a part of the Kissewala Film and Drama Club which lets me explore my creativity beyond academics.

    Careers360: Have you participated in any events, competitions, or campus activities? If yes, could you share your experience?

    Hasiba Ilma: Yes, I have participated in events on behalf of my club. The experience was quite nice, no matter what position we got. The people coming together, enjoying the moment, and creating meaningful memories is what really matters.

    Careers360: How does Adamas University help students to build practical skills and prepare them for future careers?

    Hasiba Ilma: They have many multidisciplinary courses which are required other than the core subjects that help in skill building and prepare students for a future-ready career.

    Careers360: What facilities on campus (such as libraries, labs, sports, or hostels) have contributed most to your overall experience?

    Hasiba Ilma: The badminton ground has contributed greatly to my overall campus experience. It really gives me a space where I can enjoy playing with other students.

    Careers360: How would you evaluate the placement and career guidance support provided by the university?

    Hasiba Ilma: It is quite good. The university provides valuable opportunities and skill-building support that make me feel confident and well-prepared for future job prospects.

    Careers360: What are some of your most memorable experiences on campus so far?

    Hasiba Ilma: One of my most memorable experiences on campus has been Adinova, which I enjoyed the most.

    Careers360: On a scale of 1-5, how would you evaluate the overall quality of facilities offered at Adamas University?

    Hasiba Ilma: I would rate it 4 out of 5.

    Careers360: What advice would you give to students who are considering joining Adamas University?

    Hasiba Ilma: I would say that Adamas is a good institute that prepares students for the actual world. My experiences here have helped me learn many valuable things, and the university also focuses on developing a skillset that is highly important for today’s job market.
