Vellore Institute of Technology provides a wide range of scholarships for meritorious and deserving students. VIT Scholarships are awarded to students in the form of tuition fee waivers and freeships. VITEEE Scholarship is given under the "GV School Development Programme" (GVSDP) to students who scored meritorious ranks in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) in the first year of the programme. Candidates will have to ensure that they meet all the eligibility requirements before applying for the VIT scholarship exam. VIT scholarship for BTech is offered to students based on their ranks in the VIT entrance exam 2025.

VITEEE Scholarship under “GV School Development Programme” GVSDP
Candidates who will be able to qualify the VITEEE 2025 entrance exam and are the toppers of class 12th are eligible to avail of a scholarship under the “GV School Development Programme” offered by VIT University. The authorities have laid down certain conditions that need to be met by the candidates to be eligible for the VITEEE Scholarship.

In Mumbai, there are some colleges that are considered better than VIT Mumbai for Computer Science. These colleges have better placements, higher rankings, and good teaching quality.
IIT Bombay is the best college in Mumbai and one of the top in India. Its average placement package is very high. VJTI Mumbai is also a top government college with strong placements and good education. SPCE is another government-aided college known for its quality.
Among private colleges, SPIT is one of the best with good placements. KJ Somaiya College of Engineering also has strong placements and a good reputation. MPSTME offers modern facilities and decent placements. DJSCE is another top private college with high placement packages. CRCE is also well-known for its disciplined education and decent placements.
So, if you are looking for colleges better than VIT Mumbai for Computer Science in Mumbai, you can consider IIT Bombay, VJTI, SPCE, SPIT, KJ Somaiya, MPSTME, DJSCE, and CRCE.

Let’s clear up one thing first VIT-AP doesn’t admit students through AP EAPCET ranks for CSE, ECE, or any other stream. It conducts its own entrance exam (VITEEE) and also has a management quota. So even with a rank of 39,917 in EAPCET, you won't be eligible for VIT-AP’s B.Tech CSE/CSM/ECE via counselling.
But don’t worry you still have good options. With this rank, you can:
- Apply to private colleges through AP EAPCET counselling (CAP rounds).
- Get into ECE or CSM more likely in later rounds or spot counselling.
- Look for colleges like SRM-AP, KL University, or deemed universities with their own admission processes.
Just keep checking the official counselling portal and participate in all rounds, especially spot admissions.

The final phase cutoff for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at VIT-AP in 2024 varied depending on the category and the specific CSE specialization.
