The varsity has fixed charges for the hostel and mess of VIT University. Students can also change their mess on a monthly basis. Students are required to pay the full differential in the first semester for a mess upgrade. You cannot get a CSE seat at VIT Vellore with just 95% in 12th boards and without appearing for VITEEE. Admission to B.Tech programs at VIT is primarily based on the VITEEE exam .
However, for NRIs and foreign students, admission is possible through the direct admission category. If you are an Indian student, you must appear for VITEEE to get a seat.

Yes, you can get admission in VIT with 55% in PCM if you have cleared the VITEEE exam. However, VIT generally requires at least
60% in PCM
