The Telangana Council of Higher Education has released the TS EDCET date on its website. For the convenience of the aspirants we tabulated all the important TS EDCET application dates and events below.

TS EDCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students must be aware of the TS EDCET general as well as the subject wise eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirement for the TG EDCET includes age limit, qualifying status and others.

• The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.

• Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination In any Bachelors Degree i.e. B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM, B.A (Oriental Languages), BBA or in the Masters Degree, securing at least 50% aggregate marks.

• However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories Viz., SC/ ST/ BC and other reserved categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.

• The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TG Ed.CET-2026.

• The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1 stJuly of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no maximum age limit.

The Kakatiya University on behalf of TGCHE has released the TS EDCET 2026 registration form on February 23. Candidates willing to pursue BEd from the Telangana State can fill the form at edcet.tgche.ac.in. To fill the TS EDCET application, one must complete the three steps- fee payment, filling out of application form and print of the application form.

How To Fill The TS EDCET Application Form 2026

Step 1: TS EDCET Registration Fee 2026

• Visit the TGCHE official website at edcet.tgche.ac.in

• Go to the link ‘Fee Payment’.

• Enter all the required details and the payment details.

• The TS EDCET fee according to your category will be displayed on the screen.

• Choose the payment method.

• Confirm payment and save the fee payment receipt.

• Save the payment reference id.

Step 2: TS EDCET Application

• Go to the ‘Application Form’ link.

• Enter the Payment reference id, hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth.

• Fill your academic, qualification and registration details.

• Upload the required documents.

• Submit the form after reviewing all the details.

Step 3: TS EDCET Print of Application form

• Click on the ‘Print your Filled in Application Form’.

• Enter payment reference id, qualifying examination hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth.

• Then, click on the “get Application Detail’.

• The filled in application will be displayed on the screen.

• Print by clicking on the print option.

Documents Required To Fill TS EDCET 2026 Registration Form

The following information must be kept ready for filling the details during online submission

• Hall ticket Number of Qualifying Examination

• Date of Birth

• Caste in case of SC/ST/BC candidates

• PH/NCC/Sports and Games etc.

• Income certificate from the competent authority

• Study/Residence/relevant certificate for proof of local status

• Aadhar Card

• Bank Account details

TS EDCET Application Fee 2026

The TG EDCET registration fee can be paid either at the online Centers in Telangana State or through payment gateways. The application fee differs from category. Candidates claiming any category must produce their category certificate.

How To Check TS EDCET Payment Status 2026?

• Open the website link

• Click on ‘Know Your Payment Status’

• Enter your qualifying exam hall ticket number and mobile number.

• Then, tap on the ‘Check Payment Status’.

• Your payment status will be shown there.
