In Bengaluru, QpiAI, India’s pioneering indigenous quantum computing company, and Alliance University, on February 12, 2026, announced a landmark strategic partnership to establish the AU QUASAR (Quantum AI School for Advanced Research)-India’s First 8-Qubit Quantum Computing Experience Center at Alliance University’s upcoming Electronic City campus in Bengaluru. The initiative will provide access to India’s first commercially available 8-qubit superconducting quantum computing system and marks a significant milestone in India’s quantum technology journey.

Alliance University and QpiAI will jointly deploy QpiAI’s educational flagship QVidya 8-qubit superconducting quantum system along with the QpiAI Explorer platform at the AU QUASAR facility. Located at the heart of Bengaluru’s technology corridor, the center will serve as a quantum computing hub for over 200 global technology companies, national defence and aerospace PSUs, and India’s 8,000+ startup ecosystem, while aligning closely with the objectives of the National Quantum Mission (NQM).
