Visit the official website of NEPGET 2026 - nerist.ac.in.
Go to the “Admission” section.
Click on the “NEPGET 2026 application form” tab.
Enter all the required information such as personal details, academic qualifications, and education details in the NEPGET application form 2026.
Submit all the required documents for the verification process of NEPGET 2026 registration process.

The conducting body will issue the NEPGET 2026 admit card on June 5 at the official website. The NEPGET admit card will be available a few days prior to the exam date. The NEPGET admit card 2026 contains detailed information about the name of the candidate, application number, subject name, name of the exam centre, timing, etc. Students must download the NEPGET 2026 admit card and carry a print out to the exam centre during the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the NEPGET admit card 2026.
The university will declare the NEPGET 2026 result on June 24 for PG and on July 15 for PhD exams on the official website. Students can check the NEPGET result 2026 by using their login credentials such as application number and password. The NEPGET result will be displayed in the form of a score card. The university offers admissions based on the marks obtained in the NEPGET exam 2026.
Candidates qualified in the NEPGET 2026 exam are required to follow the steps of selection procedure given below.
Students with GATE score card will be exempted from the entrance exam for admissions to M.Sc./M.Tech programmes.
Candidates without GATE/CAT/MAT score cards are required to appear for the written test
The written exam will be conducted for a total of 100 questions of 1 mark each for correct answers.
Candidates will be deducted 0.25 marks (25%) for every wrong answer attempted by the students.
For MBA students, the selection process includes written test and group discussion/personal interview.
The weightage for the written test and personal interview is 75% and 25% respectively.
Only CAT/MAT candidates will be excluded from the written test.
Students having a valid CAT score will be given full weightage of allotted written test, while for those students who have a MAT score will be given 80 marks (80% weightage).
If a student who appeared in the MAT exam wants to appear for the written test, then the candidate can appear for the written test, However, the written test score of the candidate will be considered instead of the MAT score.
Note: The NEPGET list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the total marks in the entrance exam.
