Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Answer: My name is Annanya Mishra, and I am from Mumbai.

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Answer: I am currently pursuing my MBA in Marketing and now in my second year.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Answer: Not really, the industrial trip and frequent activities acted like icebreakers and you eventually find your tribe.

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Answer: There are several activities carried on in the institute. A global immersion takes place every year. On this trip, we visit many headquarters and get to attend lectures in international institutions. Many small industrial visits occur frequently like in the company Belimo. There are various clubs which one can enroll themselves for. Such as Placecom, Rotaract, etc.

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Answer: Normally the day starts by attending lectures. During the half-hour breaks, we either take breaks and visit a cafe inside the institute, "Indulge" or work on case studies and current affairs. After the lectures, we speak to our professors and take their assistance on our research or in the clearance of our doubts. The professors are super helpful and motivating. After our academics, we have some club or committee meetings. After a long day of professional tasks, you can spend some time playing table tennis, carrom, etc. Going home, we work on the assignments or case studies and attend lectures on the courses offered by our professors (Example- GrowthX: offered by Prof. Ameya) which are truly very helpful.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Answer: The professors and lecturers are all industrial experts so we gain real-time experience and knowledge. They are always available for any assistance or to address our grievances. You can always look up to them either for academia or something that is related to your profession.

Careers360: What all facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Answer: There is every facility you could ask for available, sports ground, cafe, cleanliness. Everything is provided in its best form. The most differentiating thing about this college is the kind of corporate experience we get. The infrastructure, being in the heart of BKC, we get guest lectures by the industrial wizards themselves. Everything about this place is different in itself.

Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Answer: The cleanliness is top-notch.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Answer: Yes, medical assistance is provided 24x7. We also have an ambulance always available to deal with emergencies. We also have various safety drives conducted for precautionary purposes.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Answer: There is no specific way to manage time. You will get through some daily new activities. The one thing that can really help you is making notes rather than just relying on the ppts.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or the student's point of view?

Answer: There are various clubs available for students. Every personality has a corresponding club for it. The placement committee, Newsletter committee, and many committees and clubs provide various challenges and activities that help you grow better.

Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?

Answer: Yes, a newsletter is sent online every week.

Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Answer: Indulge Cafe is the go-to hangout place. There are many malls near to the college such as Jio Drive, Phoenix Mall etc. There you can have a good time by either reading, shopping or just taking a break by doing nothing.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time on the campus?

Answer: Mostly by spending time in our library or at the cafe.

Careers360: Do you have any Facebook page on your campus where the students express their views, jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life on campus?

Answer: Yes, we have various pages to connect and build a community. Many of the Instagram handles keep you posted about anything and everything.

Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

Answer: The recruitment process is smoothly conducted. There are various companies such as AdfactorsPR, Schbang, Aditya Birla Group of companies, Gucci, VMLYR etc.
