Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from Boards recognised by the Council of Boards of School Education in the year 2024, 2025, and those appearing in 2026 are eligible for admission

Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST). + JEE Main + Based on the merit of 10+2 examination marks

BTech 2nd Year Lateral Entry

Should have passed 3 years Diploma/BTech 1st year, with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or equivalent grade from a recognised Board of Technical Education/University

MSc

Bachelor’s Degree in any branch related to Life Sciences/Medical Sciences/any branch of Biology under 10+2+3 pattern securing 50% aggregate marks (45%for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10-point scale in aggregate from a recognised University.

Admission based on the merit of the qualifying examination

Candidates having a CGPA ≥ 7.5 in the qualifying exam will be considered for direct admission

OR

Candidates having qualified CUET (PG) - 2026 Rank / Score in the relevant discipline are also eligible for admission to the program.

OR

Admission to MSc (Biotechnology) for DBT-sponsored seats through GAT–B qualified Rank / Score

MBA

Graduate in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA score from a recognised Institute / University. Admission is through the Entrance Test (JMAT) conducted by the University and performance in GD/PI.

OR

Candidates having CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ CUET-PG qualifying Rank / Score. Such candidates are exempted from the Entrance Test (JMAT), and admission will be in order of merit of the relevant National level exam and performance in GD/PI conducted by the University.

MTech

Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) aggregate or equivalent grade from a recognised University

Through a qualified GATE Score

OR

Non-GATE qualified candidates through the PGET Test conducted by JUIT

OR

Candidates having a CGPA ≥ 7.5 in the qualifying exam are exempted from the PGET Test and shall be considered for direct admission

CUET (PG) 2026 qualified candidates are also eligible, and such candidates are exempted from the PGET Test

PhD

A 1-year/2-semester (or 2-year/4-semester) Master’s Degree Programme after a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s Degree Programme with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA not less than 06 on a scale of 10

OR

A 2-year/4-semester Master’s Degree Programme after a 3-year Bachelor’s Degree Programme with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA not less than 06 on a scale of 10

OR

Qualifications declared equivalent to the Master’s Degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or CGPA not less than 06 on a scale of 10

OR

4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s Degree Programme with 75% aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 7.5 on a scale of 10

Consistently good academic record/performance

NET/SLET/UGC/CSIR (JRF) qualified candidates are exempted from the PhD Entrance Test. However, they have to qualify in the interview
