The ICAR AIEEA counselling process generally includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification and payment of the seat acceptance fee.
Eligible candidates first need to register for ICAR counselling. Candidates should complete the registration within the specified deadline.
After registration, candidates have to select their preferred universities and programmes. Candidates should fill as many suitable choices as possible based on their eligibility and preferences. The order of choices is important because ICAR AIEEA seat allocation is done based on the choices filled by the candidate along with other applicable factors.
After the choice filling process closes, the ICAR AIEEA seat allotment has been released on October 5. Candidates are allotted seats based on factors such as merit/rank, choices filled, seat availability and applicable reservation rules.
Candidates who receive a seat need to follow the instructions given in the ICAR AIEEA allotment letter. They may have to pay the required seat acceptance fee within the given deadline. Aspirants should not miss the payment deadline, as failure to complete the required steps may affect their admission.
The allotted university verifies the documents submitted by the candidate. Candidates may be asked to upload or re submit documents if there is any issue. Therefore, candidates should make sure that all documents are clear and valid.
After completing the required counselling formalities, candidates can receive a Provisional Admission Letter. The candidate then has to complete the remaining admission formalities as instructed by the allotted university.
After the ICAR AIEEA seat allotment result, candidates generally have to decide whether to proceed with the allotted seat according to the options and instructions provided in the counselling process. If a candidate gets a preferred programme and university, they should complete the required admission formalities within the deadline. Candidates who are allotted seats in later rounds should also follow the instructions given on the counselling portal. ICAR has scheduled Round 2 seat allotment for October 9 and Round 3 for October 12, 2026.
