BSc Horticulture is an undergraduate degree programme that provides students with knowledge of vegetable farming, planting systems, water, and weed management in flower crops. It also provides students with knowledge of the physiology of plants and the application of growth regulators or bioregulators in horticultural crops.

----------------------)  Minimum percentage : if you are from General or OBC category then you must get at least 50% marks or if you are from SC / St / PC category then you must get least 40% marks in 12th board examination.

----------------------) Age :- You must be at least 16 years as on 31st August of the year of examination i. e as on 31st August 2022 in order to be eligible for ICAR UG 2022.

Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya and Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalaya both will accept this exam score.

ICAR AIEEA or Indian Council of Agricultural Research All India Entrance Examination for Admission is a nationwide entrance exam administered yearly for aspirants wanting entry to UG, PG and Research programmes in 75 agricultural colleges, including 64 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities, 4 ICAR-DUs, 3 Central Agricultural Universities, 4 Central Universities maintaining Faculty of Agriculture.

An aggregate of 15k bachelor's and 11k PG seats are there.

Eligibility

Aspirants who qualified Class 12th from CBSE Board or its equal from an acknowledged Indian Board/University.

The minimum age is 16 years as of 31 August 2022.

Aspirants from General, OBC, and UPS are needed 50% or more scores while aspirants of SC, ST, and PwD need 40% marks or more.

As top institute has high closing cutoff for the candidates to get admission. For BHU , CCSHAU , GBPUAT ,PAU ,CSHKPKVV , these are some top institute for which candidate had to score a rank below 1000 .

The ICAR AIEEA 2021 rank list will be generated by the ICAR for the separate subject groups such as PCM, PCB, PCA and ABC. Based on the rank list of ICAR AIEEA 2021, candidates who have qualified the entrance exam will be allotted a seat in specific graduate and postgraduate programmes. The rank list is not yet released. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. The counselling dates are not yet declared. The dates are expected to be announced soon
