The National Testing Agency has closed the CUET UG 2026 centre re-allocation window on May 7. Based on the NTA notification published on May 6, due to logistical and operational challenges, NTA will only allow students to change their exam state and city for CUET UG 2026. Candidates are no longer allowed to request a change to their exam date and shift. The CUET UG admit card for the affected students has been released on May 9.

The CUET UG exam 2026 will be conducted between May 11 and 31. Students must remember that the final seats will be allocated to the candidates on the first come and first serve basis. Students must fill out their choices as soon as possible.
The NTA has released the notice regarding the CUET centre reallocation window on May 5. The window has also been activated from May 5. The last date to fill the centre allocation choices was May 7. Candidates could fill the centre allocation window till 11:50 PM.
Students who have successfully filled out the application form and whose exam centre is allotted other than the preferred choices. Those candidates can change the examination State, City, Date, and/or Shift, as per the availability of slots of their opted subject combination.
After logging in with the credentials into the portal, students will get the option to change the centre allocation. Follow the steps below to change the exam city and slot.

The NTA has also released the public notice of the percentage of candidates who were allotted the exam city as per their first, second and third choices. Additionally, the NTA mentioned that a total of 15,68,866 candidates registered for the CUET UG 2026 this year.

Make travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance
Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time to avoid inconvenience.
