Candidates who have taken the CPET 2026 exam can check the result from the official website at samsodisha.gov.in. The CPET login credentials used to download the CPET merit list 2026 are the subject and hall ticket number.     The CPET result has been released on its official website. To understand how to download the result, follow the steps below.

    • Visit the official website of the CPET at samsodisha.gov.in.

    • Go to the ‘State Wide Merit List’ section.

    • Enter your PG admission subject and hall ticket number.

    • Then enter the captcha given and click on the ‘Show’ button.

    • Your merit list will be available on your screen.

    • Download and save the merit list as reference.

    CPET Counselling 2026

    Candidates whose names appeared in the merit list will be eligible to take part in the counselling sessions. In order to take part in the counselling, qualified candidates are required to fill their choices. Then the authority will release the CPET allotment list. After the publication of each allotment list, students must verify their documents from the college office. They are also required to pay the required fees.

    Documents Required For CPET 2026 Counselling

    Here is the list of documents required during the counselling. Candidates before preparing their documents must read out these and keep the documents accordingly.

    • Marksheet and certificate of class 10

    • Marksheet and certificate of class 12

    • Marksheet and certificate of graduation

    • Code of conduct

    • Transfer certificate

    • Migration certificate

    • Character certificate

    • Adhar card or any photo identity proof

    • Category certificate (if any)

    • Residential certificate

    • Passport-sized photograph

    CPET Seat Allotment 2026

    The Higher Education Department, Odisha will release the three allotment list based on the choices filled by the candidates. The authority will also release the list for the waiting candidates. After the publication of each allotment list, candidates will be required to fulfill the department conditions. They are supposed to choose an option from the given three options- Slide Up, Freeze and Float. They are required to pay the fees through the SAMS portal. They must submit the fees within the given time period, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled out. They are also given time to report at their allotted colleges.
