Ashoka University Reserved Seat Policy and Financial Aid

Reservation in Ashoka University is offered based on Haryana State Private Universities Act. Fees concession is also offered to Haryana domicile students while remaining students are eligible for merit-cum-need based scholarships.

Financial aid at Ashoka University is offered based on students’ needs. Once the seat is offered, the university checks the family’s financial situation and then offers the approved aid, up to 100% fees waiver.

How Selection Process Impact Ashoka University Intake

Ashoka University does not fill all seats in a single round. Seats are distributed across 4 Admission Rounds (Round 1 to 4). Students applying in Round 1 or 2 have a higher chance of securing a seat, as fewer seats are available in the later rounds of the admissions process. Things that increase a student’s chance of securing a seat are:

    • Academic records (Class 10/ 12 marks)

    • Personal statement or mandatory essays

    • Ashoka Aptitude Test score or SAT/ACT marks

    • On-the-Spot Essay writing and interview performance
