Careers360: Tell us something about yourself.
Mahy Kamra: Hi, I’m Mahy Kamra, student of Product Design at SID. I am an avid reader. I can talk about the books I’ve read for hours and hours. I would love to live in Harry Potter and go to Hogwarts!
Careers360: How did you come to choose your institution/university and what factors were instrumental in your choice?
Mahy Kamra: I took a lot of factors into consideration while choosing my college/university like the courses offered, the curriculum, location, infrastructure, well-equipped labs and the faculty. I chose SID because of the impressive infrastructure and experienced faculty. SID is also a very well reputed college for Product Design which was the course I opted for. The institute is located in the premium location of Viman Nagar in Pune, so being a localite I did not have to move out of my city or home.
Careers360: What were the salient features of your admission process at your institution/university that struck you as unique?
Mahy Kamra: We were given a PRPI task which was basically a studio test. This stage of the admission process helped me to show my creativity, skill, thinking process through solving the task given using utmost minute thought and thinking out of the box. This was the first step where I understood that the institute will provide me with the best design challenges and I will get to use my solutions for problem solving. This unique perspective of the admission process has struck with me till date.
Careers360: What is your take on the initial days at your institution/university campus considering that it is the time to build contacts, understand the processes? Could you give details on the support given by the institute?
Mahy Kamra: During the initial days at the institute, we had a lot of group activities during the orientation week, which helped us to connect with our batchmates and step out of our comfort zones. An Icebreakers event was organised to get to know our seniors, various portfolios and the dynamic campus life.
Careers360: Now that you are a part of your institution/university campus, what in your opinion are stand apart features of the institute that you think are really assets to building a student’s career and future?
Mahy Kamra: From the first day itself, students' individuality was embraced and I was allowed to be as creative and innovative as I want without restricting ourselves to the status quo. I was taught the importance of creative critical thinking and the different steps on how it can be used in design thinking, problem solving and ideations.
Careers360: Could you give details on the industry connection that is inbuilt with the course at SID, Pune and its advantages?
Mahy Kamra: SID has a strong industry connect with multiple prominent companies and industry experts that collaborate with the institute for internships and placements opportunities. The sessions organised by the placement assistance cell helps me to understand the industry better right from the first year which gives me an idea about what is trending in the field of design.
Careers360: How advantageous in your opinion is your institution/university alumni network connection and in which ways?
Mahy Kamra: The alumni network of our institution is remarkable and very vast. I got to hear some inspiring stories of the SID alumni during the orientation week which left a lasting impression on my mind. It also helped me to have a certain goal in my mind for my journey at SID and do the right things to navigate through the best opportunities that SID has to offer. The alumni interaction is organised often by the alumni cell and I am looking forward to attend all of them.
Careers360: Internships are an integral part of any student’s life. Please talk about the internship process at your institution/university and how they lead to students being placement ready.
Mahy Kamra: In the 3rd year, the institute offers 2 months summer internship program and graduation project in the 4th year with prominent names in the field of design and innovation. The placement cell is very strong and floats opportunities to the students for application. The industry projects are impressive and I am looking forward to viewing them during the Design Showcase event.
Careers360: In a nutshell, could you sum up your experiences at your institution/university?
Mahy Kamra: My experience at SID has been fun-filled and exciting in the last six months. I learnt design foundation subjects by expert faculty members who literally were hand holding me and solving all my questions to make my basics strong. Being a part of the different events, clubs and societies also helps me to pursue my hobbies and extra curricular. At SID everyone is always there to help you whether it be seniors or faculty. At SID you are part of a community, a family and it becomes home.

Both Christ University, Ghaziabad, and Symbiosis Law School, Noida, are reputed institutions for BBA LLB but have distinct advantages.
Symbiosis Noida is better established for law education and offers strong exposure due to its proximity to Delhi NCR, enabling connections with top law firms and courts. It has experienced faculty, better placement statistics, and an active student environment. However, the campus size is small, and fees are higher.
Christ Ghaziabad provides a holistic education with good academic standards and extracurricular activities but is relatively newer in law education, which may limit exposure compared to Symbiosis.
Symbiosis Noida is generally preferred for BBA LLB, especially for better placements and industry exposure

Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing great.
Coming to your question, NO you cannot get admission into Symbiosis without giving the SET. The admission will only be provided through the entrance exam conducted by the university. Other than this there is no other way. So, you need compulsorily give this exam.
Hope this helps!!
For corporate law placements, all three institutions—NUSRL, Jindal, and Symbiosis—are well-regarded. However, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) is particularly strong in corporate law, with excellent placement records in top law firms and corporations. Symbiosis Law School is also well-known, but NUSRL is emerging as a strong choice. Ultimately, JGLS and Symbiosis offer more opportunities due to their established networks and infrastructure. It would be beneficial to research each institution’s curriculum, faculty, and placement records for a more informed decision.
Hello,
As you have mentioned that you have attempted the 32 questions but only on the basis of that questions one cannot guess that you will receive call from the university or not but than too, I will recommend you to prepare for the interview because in case if you receive the call than at that time it will be not possible for you to do the preparation so it is better to be ready always.
Thank you..
