Rules and regulations are strictly follwed in girls hostel. You are not allowed to go out but if your parents visit your city or if they have come to meet you and staying in hotel then you will be allowed to stay with them for Saturday and Sunday. You can go out with them. I know about bits Goa. There is huge campus mess is in another building , food and meals are provided with time table if you get late you will be going to miss the meal and canteen is open whole day for that you have to pay extra . On sundays you will be given special menu like pizza or food of your choice . No outside food is allowed.

In the first year you will share room with your roommate and from second year you will have separate room.

You have tagged EFLU, Hyderabad, I'm presuming you're asking for its UG Program, the eligibility criteria for it is candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with 50% as minimum aggregate for General Category and there's relaxation for others like 45% (SC/ST)

So, yes, in order to be eligible for UG Program, it's compulsory to have 50% aggregate for UR.
