Registration Fee (Applicable to All Campuses)
For programmes with an annual fee of Rs 1,00,000 and above, the one time non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee for the first year is 10,000.
For programmes with an annual fee less than Rs 1,00,000, the one time non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee for the first year is 5,000.

SRM Fees Structure 2024 - Important Points
The SRM hostel fees per year includes mess fees of Rs 55000 for veg and non-veg food.
The laundry fee for male candidates is Rs. 6000, and Rs 7000 for female candidates.
Unless the candidate withdraws from the course, the hostel fee will not be refunded
There will be no refund for students expelled from the hostel.
The hostel cancellation changes will be according to rules.
Refund of Fee for all Programmes
Candidates claiming a refund after the cancellation of their admission can check below-given details.
Cancellation of Admission and Refund Policy
As per the SRM University 2024 policy, the directorate of admission will be responsible to process the refund until the enrollment is complete. Once the enrollment is over, candidates will need to visit the respective college/ school for the same.
The request for admission cancellation will have to be submitted online via the official website. The request made through any other means will not be entertained.
The refund will be deposited directly to the bank account of the candidate according to the cancelled cheque submitted at the time of counselling/ admission.
A small amount may be deducted by RTGS / NEFT from the refund at the time of transfer.
Online Cancellation with no change in bank account details:
The online cancellation date will be taken to be the date for formal withdrawal of admission. This date will be taken into consideration for working out the amount eligible for the refund
The refund will be decided based on the details given in the online cancellation form. No other documents will be needed.
The paperwork required to process refund will initiate only on the date of receipt of the below documents by the Directorate of Admissions, Kattankulathur:
1. All fee payment receipts
2. Counselling Call Letter
3. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL)
4. Cheque leaf (cancelled) of the bank to which transfer of money will be made
SRMIST will not be responsible for misrepresentation of account information provided by the student.
Once documents received for refund are all in order, the time taken to process the transfer will be 30 working days.
It is entirely on the candidate to send in documents for timely processing of the refund.

SRM University Hostel Rules - Important Points
The hostel fee includes mess fees for veg and non-veg food.
The laundry fee for male candidates is Rs. 6000, and Rs 7000 for female candidates.
Unless the candidate withdraws from the course, the hostel fee will not be refunded
There will be no refund for students expelled from the hostel.
The hostel cancellation changes will be according to rules.

For the KTR campus the AC college buses will run for certain areas of Chennai.
The candidates will make out a Demand Draft in favour of SRMIST payable at Chennai for both KTR and Vadapalani campuses. The DD for NCR campus, on the other hand, will be made out in favour of SRMIST payable at New Delhi
Except for the first year, candidates will have the option to book the bus online.
The transportation service will be afforded subject to the availability of seats.
The transportation fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Candidates will have to provide 2 stamp size recent photographs in order to receive the bus pass.
