Assam DElEd 2026 Counselling Process

Candidates who qualify the Assam DElEd PET 2026 are eligible to participate in the online counselling process conducted by SCERT Assam. Through the counselling process, candidates can choose their preferred Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs), receive seat allotment based on their merit and preferences, complete document verification, and confirm admission.

Step 1: Login to the SCERT Assam DElEd Counselling Portal

• The first step is to log in to the official SCERT Assam counselling portal.

• Candidates must use their registered mobile number and date of birth to access their counselling dashboard.

• After logging in, they should verify their personal details before proceeding with the counselling process.

Step 2: SCERT Assam DElEd 2026 Online Counselling Process

• After logging in successfully, candidates need to click on the "Proceed to Online Counselling" button available on the dashboard.

• Then the SCERT Assam DElEd online counselling form will be opened, where candidates can begin the admission process.

Step 3: SCERT Assam DElEd Choice Filling

Candidates must select the Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) where they wish to take admission. They can choose multiple institutes and arrange them in the order of preference. It is important to fill the choices carefully because seat allotment will be based on the candidate's SCERT Assam DElEd PET rank, reservation category, and the preferences submitted during counselling.

Step 5: SCERT Assam DElEd 2026 Seat Allotment

The SCERT Assam DElEd first seat allotment will be published in August 2026. The seats will be allotted based on several factors, including the candidate's Assam DElEd PET 2026 merit rank, reservation category, availability of seats, and the order of TEI preferences filled during counselling. Candidates can check their allotted institute by logging into the counselling portal.

Step 6: SCERT Assam DElEd Document Verification

Candidates who are allotted a seat in the SCERT DElEd PET 1st allotment must report to the allotted institute before the deadline for document verification. They should carry all the required original documents along with photocopies. The institute will verify the candidate's educational qualifications, identity, category certificate (if applicable), and other supporting documents before confirming admission.

Step 7: SCERT Assam DElEd Admission Confirmation

After successful document verification, candidates must complete the admission formalities by paying the prescribed SCERT Assam DElEd admission fee at the allotted institute. Once the fee payment is completed, the admission will be confirmed. Candidates who fail to report for document verification or do not complete the admission process within the given deadline may lose their allotted seat

• Certificate for proof of age. (Admit card or certificate of H.S.L.C./Class 10 examination)
• Pass Certificate & Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2]
• Certificate of Caste (if any) from Competent Authority
• Document to prove that he/she is a permanent resident of Assam
• Person with Disability (PWD) & EWS certificate (if any) issued from the Competent Authority
• All the selected candidates have to submit an undertaking to the principals of the concerned TEIs in Rs.10/- court fee paper with their signature
