MSRUAS will be formally entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Directorate of Aerospace Design (DAD), Air Headquarters, Indian Air Force, New Delhi. The formal exchange/release of the MoU is scheduled during the Tri Services Academia Technology Symposium (TSATS) by the Deputy Chief of Air Staff (DCAS) on 23 September 2025 at New Delhi.
This MoU signifies a landmark collaboration aimed at advancing research, design and development in the field of Aerospace engineering, Advanced materials, Communication systems, Bio-medical, Quantum technologies, Warfare systems and other domains. The partnership brings together academic expertise, cutting-edge research facilities and the operational experience of the Indian Air Force to pursue innovation, indigenization and capacity building jointly.

Key objectives of this collaboration include:
Joint research and development in several domains.
Exchange of knowledge, expertise and best practices between academia, industry and defense.
Development of prototypes and solutions addressing critical requirements of the Indian Air Force.
Internships to students with Indian Air Force.
Training, workshops and capacity-building initiatives for researchers, faculty and students.
Help and participate in iDEX, TDF and Make in India projects.
