Mahindra University Selection Criteria 2026

For BTech Course: Valid score/rank in JEE Main 2026, SAT (Minimum score of 800), or ACT (Minimum composite score of 18). Shortlisted candidates from the SAT/ACT routes must clear a technical and aptitude-based virtual interview.

For BBA & 4-Year BBA (Hons.) in Hospitality Management: Merit-based evaluation of 10+2 scores. Valid SAT or CUET scores are highly preferred but not mandatory. Shortlisted candidates must pass a Panel Interview.

For BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB (Hons.) (5-Year Integrated): Based on scores from national exams like CLAT or LSAT India, or the university's internal test (MULET), followed by a mandatory panel interview.

For Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC): Direct merit based on 10+2 academic performance, followed by an internal screening process and a personal interaction round.

For B.Des. (Bachelor of Design - 4 Years): Score in national design tests such as UCEED, NID DAT, or NIFT. Candidates without these scores are evaluated via a university portfolio review and personal interview.

For MBA (2 Years): Valid score in CAT, GMAT, GRE, or MUMET (Mahindra University MBA Entrance Test), followed by evaluation of a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and a final Personal Interview (PI).

For M.Tech (2 Years):

• GATE Route: Candidates with a valid GATE score (percentile of 80 or above) go directly to the interview round.
• Non-GATE Route: Candidates must appear for a written entrance test conducted by the university (ECSE-MU), followed by an interview.

For LLB (Hons.) (3-Year PG Track): Valid score in CLAT (PG) or LSAT (PG), followed by a mandatory panel interview.

For M.Des. (Master of Design): Evaluation of a valid CEED or GATE score. Eligible candidates must undergo a portfolio presentation and a design aptitude interview.

For MA in Education / M.Sc. in Biotherapeutics / Master’s in Journalism: University-specific entrance test/subject evaluation, followed by a review of the candidate's Statement of Purpose (SOP) and a personal interview.
