Those candidates who have failed in ELCT paper but qualified for the BEd CET will not be eligible for the English medium colleges.

The CAP is the Centralised Admission Process. The CAP involves several key steps followed by the admission in the respective colleges. 

The Maharashtra State CET Cell will start the BEd CAP from June 2026.

There are a total of 14 universities participating in the BEd CAP. These 14 universities have more than 600 affiliated colleges.

The CET cell has cancelled the exam at the MGM ACADEMY centre due to technical reasons. The exam for 1327 candidates will be rescheduled and sent via email.

The ELCT marking scheme is the same as the main exam. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer. There will be no negetive marking in the ELCT paper also.

Yes, aspirants who are aiming for admission in the English medium colleges must appear in the ELCT paper. This paper is added to test the English proficiency of the students.

All the questions asked in the first shift are up to 10 levels and only syllabus concentrated.

The ELCET paper has a total of 50 questions. This part is comprised of Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Sentence Formation, Idioms and proverbs, vocabulary, Phonetics, and Figure of speech.

In the Maharashtra BEd CET paper, there will be a total of 40 questions. Among them, 40 will be from the Mental Ability part and 30 each from General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.

As per students reactions, the difficulty level of teaching aptitude section in MAH BEd CET exam 2026 was easy. Students said this section to be focused on decision making.

MAH ELCET is a language paper. Students' language skills are tested through this paper. A total of 50 questions asked in the MAH BEd ELCET.
