Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Answer: I’m from Rajasthan.

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Answer: I’m pursuing B.Tech CSE (1st Year)

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Answer: No

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc. for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Answer: Yes, there is a wide variety of activities and events. And there are many clubs. I am a member of (Design and Media Team) Student Council

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Answer: I have my classes, assignments and self study, enjoying with friends at the campus, meetings and work of Student Council.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Answer: The faculty are extremely supportive and available, and the teacher-student ratio is great.

Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Answer: We have various indoor and outdoor sports facilities at Bennett University, well equipped libraries etc. Rangeela lounge is a different and unique concept.

Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Answer: The hostels are much better and proper cleanliness is ensured by the housekeeping.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Answer: Yes, we have an ambulance available inside the campus 24x7. Nearest hospital is almost 30 minutes away from the campus. We have a medical room open 24 hours and a dispensary which is open from 12-12.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Answer: I follow my planner and manage my time according to priorities and commitment.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students’ point of view?

Answer: There are many clubs and societies. They play a vital role in holistic development and extracurricular involvement which is equally important as academics.

Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?

Answer: Yes. Each school has newsletters or journals. There is a student website – timesofbennett.com which carries updates on latest happenings on campus, student life and events.

Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Answer: Kathi Junction, N block ground, Maggi Hotspot.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?

Answer: For me sports behold my leisure time. During my free time I spend a lot of time in the Sports Complex, playing one or the other sport to keep up the spirit.

Careers360: Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views, jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life at campus?

Answer: Yes, we have a University Newsletter and also department newsletters to cover all the events on campus with a vibrant online social media presence.

Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

Answer: Good companies and firms come for recruitment. And almost everyone gets placed. The highest package offered for our department this year was Rs 1.2 crore LPA. Key Recruiters that participate in the Bennett University placement drive are: Meta, Adobe India, Amazon, Amazon Web Services, CISCO, Innovacer, Microsoft India, ServiceNow, Goldman Sachs, Siemens, HSBC, Cvent.
