Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Answer: I’m from Meerut

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Answer: I am pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and I am in 3rd Year.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Answer: No, I didn’t face any difficulty as such because I made a lot of friends in the initial months along with highly supportive faculty who made us comfortable with the online education environment during covid.

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc. for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Answer: Bennett focuses on curricular and extracurricular activities both equally. There are so many clubs and societies. I became part of two clubs in the first year, Nomads, the travel club and Pulse, the event management club. In 2nd year, I became the Joint Secretary of Nomads and now in 3rd year I am part of the student council as Sun Head Sponsorship.

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Answer: Usually I wake up by 9 AM on weekdays and sleep by 2 AM. Weekdays are pretty much the same - full of classes, assignments, projects, sneaking out for some free time with friends and on weekends there’s hardly any schedule but we do get some time for us to indulge in extracurricular activities.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Answer: Faculty is very good and helpful. The ratio in BBA is also good. Everyone shares a personal connection with faculty. We also have a mentor-mentee program where one faculty is assigned to us, and we can reach out to them for any need of ours.

Careers360: What facilities do you have in the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Answer: Bennett has almost all state-of-the-art facilities on the campus with a world class sports complex and many hangout joints on campus that makes life engaging for students here. The newly opened student lounge, the Rangeela Lounge at Bennett is unique.

Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Answer: Hostels are our home, and they are quite clean and comfortable to stay in. The university maintains a clean and hygienic environment in all its hostels, with regular cleaning and maintenance services.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Answer: The health center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is equipped with a range of medical facilities at Bennett University, including a medical dispensary, pharmacy and ambulance services.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Answer: I believe in the art of time management and that’s what I have learnt in my three years at BU. I prioritize my tasks, make a schedule, follow it by heart and sail through it.

Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students’ point of view?

Answer: Clubs at BU play a significant role in allowing students to pursue their passions and interests outside of the classroom, which in turn enhance their overall academic performance. BU has more than 40+ clubs to follow our passion.

Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?

Answer: Yes, a yearbook, a newsletter and regular updates in The Times of Bennett newspaper and website along with the high social media presence on Facebook and Instagram keeps us updated with major BU happenings.

Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Answer: The most happening places on campus are hangout joints like Quench in Sports Complex, Kathi Junction and Southern Stories. These not only provide delicious food but also have a relaxing vibe to it.

Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?

Answer: Leisure time entails relaxing, sleeping and hanging out with friends on campus and nearby vicinity, exploring Delhi, enjoying on campus events, and late night movies.

Careers360: Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views, jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life at campus?

Answer: Yes, Bennett University has an active Facebook page where students can share their views, ideas, and experiences of life on campus. The page features updates on campus events, student achievements, and important announcements from the university.

Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

Answer: The Bennett University placement process of BBA is good. Highest Package Offered for this year was Rs 21.50 LPA and Average Package stands at Rs 4.72 LPA, with key recruiters being Aditya Birla, ApplyBoard, Career Launcher, Deloitte, D E Shaw & Co and Valvoline to name a few.
