Applicants who have taken the exam and shortlisted in the merit list of the JBT counselling can track the dates of the further events. This date table helps to get aware of the further process so that they can take admission successfully.

Eligibility For HP JBT Counselling 2026

Candidates are required to fulfill some criteria in order to attend the HP DElEd counselling 2026.

• Must qualify the DElEd result 2026 HP with the minimum marks.

• Must complete the Class 12 with at least 50% or its equivalent. A relaxation of 5% will be provided to the reserved category candidates.

• The age limit will be between 17-32 years as on the date of the conduct of DElEdCET 2026 for all candidates. A relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit will be given to the reserved category.

DElEd Counselling 2026- Passing Criteria

Only those candidates whose name appears in the HP DElEd merit list will be eligible for counselling. Here is the table given which contains the passing marks for the different categories.

Aspirants appearing in the counseling must check some crucial points to attend the counselling:

• Counseling Sessions will be conducted by the HPBOSE for allocating seats to the candidates based on his/ her preferences and position in the merit list prepared.

• The date/time/venue for counselling round will be decided by the HPBOSE and intimated through web portal.

• No separate letter for any round of counselling will be sent to any candidate.

• The candidates who are called as per merit list for admission at time of counseling, will have to submit the copy of required documents at the time of counseling

• Any expensive jewelry, any electronic gadgets, cash etc. held by students will not be allowed in the premises for counseling .

Documents Required For DElEd 2026 Counselling HP

For the physical verification of the candidates, they are required to submit the following documents.

• Matriculation certificate

• Bonafide Himachali Certificate

• Domicile/Reservation Category certificate

• Sub -Category certificate

• Affidavits ( additional to certificates only for OBC and Dep-Ex-Man , WFF per Specimens given below)

• Aadhar number/Card

There are a total of 40 participating institutions that provide almost 2450 seats. Among them 12 are government institutes providing 900 seats. The remaining seats were provided through the 28 private aided institutions.
