CUET UG 2026 Exam Live May 11, Shift 1 Begins: Exam Timing, Analysis & Memory-Based Questions
The National Testing Agency has concluded conducting the shift 1 of CUET UG 2026 from May 11. The CUET UG 2026 shift 2 exam will from 3 PM. There are a total of two shifts, shift 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM, shift 2 from 3 PM to 6 PM. Many students have shown confusion regarding the shift timing being 3 hours, where each exam is of one hour duration.

Due to logistical challenges and CBT exam infrastructure availability, NTA has announced all students are now required to attend three exams back to back, without a break. Due to the CUET exam change requests, NTA faced reportedly faced challenges which may have affected some students. Due to this, no CUET datesheet has been released this year, students can only check their exam dates from admit card alone. Can I take my bag to CUET exam centre?
Yes, you can take your bag to CUET centre, but it is not allowed to be taken inside. NTA typically conducts CUET through TCS iON exam centres. There are counters where you can keep your mobile phone and bags by paying a nominal fees of around Rs 20. Make sure you keep the coupon safe.
What is NTA CUET 2026 dress code?
The National Testing Agency has already shared the CUET dress code 2026 on the official website. For clothing, Students are advised to go for light-coloured clothes, preferably half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts, and simple trousers, lowers, or jeans. For footwear, slippers, sandals, or normal low-heeled footwear are allowed. In case of exam centres located in cold areas, woollens are allowed.
