What is AP DEECET?

The AP DEECET is a state level entrance exchange for the admission in two year DElEd courses. The exam is conducted every year by the School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh. Selected candidates can get admission in State government or in Private Colleges according to their obtained marks. There is no upper age limit to appear for the exam. But candidates will have to pass class 12 with the minimum qualifying marks.

• Students must have completed class 12 examination from a recognised institution.

• They must have secured a minimum 50% in aggregate. For the reserved category candidates, there is relaxation of 5%.

• Candidates must have completed 17 years of age.

• There is no upper age limit to apply for the D.Ed.

• Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh.

• Aspirants passing with vocational courses are not eligible for admission.
