Hello,
Anna University does not offer a bsc n Astrophysics or other specialized undergraduate courses in Astrophysics. Their bsc programs are mainly in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
If you’re interested in Astrophysics, you can take bsc Physics at Anna University and then pursue a msc or research in Astrophysics.
For specialized Astrophysics courses, other Chennai colleges like University of Madras, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, or Chennai Mathematical Institute are better options.
Hope you understand.

Keerthi, with a 664 OS rank and 196/200 score in Anna University B.Tech admissions, your chances of getting SEAG seat are fair but competitive.
Top branches in CEG or MIT may be difficult, but you may get core branches like EEE, Civil, or Mechanical in later rounds or in Tier-2 Anna-affiliated colleges.
Participate actively in all rounds of counselling for the best options.
In the past, the closing cutoff for CSE and ECE in CEG and MIT for the BC category has been around 198 and above While securing a seat in top branches at CEG and MIT with your current rank might be challenging, you have good potential to get into other branches or colleges within the Anna University system or other reputable institutions in Tamil Nadu.
you can explore other branches and potentially get a seat in later rounds or through management quota.
No, with a 98.83 percentile in PCM alone, you are unlikely to get a seat in Anna University under the other state quota unless your Class 12 board marks are near perfect.
