Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Answer: I am Adarsh Negi and I hail from Dehradun.

Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Answer: I am currently pursuing B.Tech CSE and am in fourth year. I am glad to share that I have been offered SWE Internship at Google India for the Summer of 2023.

Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?

Answer: No, I did not face any difficulty in the initial months when I joined the institute. The comprehensive orientation program, which lasted for three days, played a crucial role in easing my transition. It provided valuable information about the campus, academic structure, and resources available to students.

Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Answer: The significance of our clubs and societies cannot be overstated, they impact our student life by organizing activities that help us explore our interests, enhance our skill, and foster our personal growth. Alankrit - the cultural society provides the students with a platform to display their cultural and artistic abilities. Kavyanjali - the literary club engages students in debates, poetry and patrons the cultural legacy of the nation. Our Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is a non-profit organization that aims to collect and exchange technical knowledge related to oil and gas. These are just a few of the many clubs in our university and we also have an NSS club that is active in social welfare activities.

Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute. What do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Answer: A typical day at my institute kicks off with a series of engaging classes. In between the lectures, I seize the opportunity to engage with our professors, seeking their guidance and clearing any doubts. I must say, our professors are incredibly supportive and motivating, always willing to assist us with our research and academic pursuits. During the well-deserved hour-long break, we rejuvenate over quick bites with friends at the vibrant in-campus café, fostering both relaxation and lively discussions. The afternoons are often dedicated to lab work or group projects, where we collaborate and apply our theoretical knowledge. In the evenings, we engage in club activities, attend seminars, or engage in recreational activities. The evenings conclude with shared laughter and camaraderie over dinner in the hostel mess. Before retiring for the night, I consolidate my learnings through note revision, assignment completion, and thoughtful planning, ending the day with a sense of accomplishment.

Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Answer: The faculty-student ratio at our institute is well-balanced, allowing for personalized attention and support. The teacher-student relationship goes beyond academics, as faculty members actively engage with students, address their grievances, and provide guidance in research, internships, and personal development. This nurturing bond fosters a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere, enhancing the overall learning experience.

Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Answer: The campus boasts a range of facilities to cater to the diverse needs of students. These include well-equipped classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, a library with extensive resources, sports facilities, and a vibrant cafeteria. However, what I find most unique and differentiating is the presence of Radio Zindagee, our very own community radio station. It serves as a platform for creative expression, promoting local talent, and disseminating information to the campus and surrounding community. Additionally, the Technology Business Incubator-GEU is a remarkable feature that supports and empowers aspiring entrepreneurs by providing funding, mentorship, and resources to nurture innovative ideas and start-ups based on technology. Answer: Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) hostels offer a high level of comfort, ensuring a pleasant living experience for students. Cleanliness is given utmost importance, with regular maintenance and cleanliness measures in place to uphold a hygienic environment.

Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Answer: Yes, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) prioritizes the well-being of students by providing excellent medical facilities. In the event of an emergency, an on-campus infirmary is available for immediate medical attention. We have our own ambulance service as well, ensuring prompt transportation, and a fully-equipped Graphic Era hospital that caters to the healthcare needs of students effectively.

The Upes university has the very higher fees for every aspect of fees for the university and has no such reputation in respect of education campus enviornment ,and placement .on the other hand the Graphic EERA university has the all requirements for education ,Feculties,campus enviornment,and overall  good placement record.In Graphic ERA university more tha 78%==student got placed in previous years and have the average salary of 4.8 lacs of rupees per annum and the highest salary is 7.8lacs of rupees per annum .But the UPES has no such record of placement inthe previous years. So the decision is yours.

Graphic Era University is a private Deemed to be University which is a NAAC accredited and UGC approved university. Students from all over India, takes admission to this university in various courses. So if you wish to go for the university, you can go for it without any doubt. There is no problem if you go from South Indian states. It will take some time but you will be able to get accommodated with it.

Yes you can get admission into CSE Branch Btech at Graphic Era University with 70 percent marks in your boards. All you have to do is just visit their website and apply for your desired programme and the university will release merit list based on your board examination percentage and you JEE mains score. There are more than 2 lists they release for admission and if you get into merit list then wou will get admission there.
