About: Karnavati University, Gandhinagar was established in 2017. It is a state Private University located in Uvarsad near Gandhinagar. Karnavati University offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in multiple disciplines. KU admission is entrance-based. Under Karnavati University, there are six constituent colleges: Unitedworld Institute of Design, Unitedworld School of Business, Unitedworld School of Liberal Arts & Mass Communication, Unitedworld School of Law, Unitedworld School of Computational Intelligence and Karnavati School of Dentistry.
Q. Tell us about your domain and your work profile. At the professional level, did you pursue the same field you were interested in or did you switch?
A: I have got my admission in SCAD for my master's. Yes, I continue to pursue the same field professionally since it interests me.
Q. Can you briefly tell us about your career path so far?
A: In May 2023, I completed my undergraduate studies. I have also been accepted for Master's admission in January 2024.
Q. Is the industry work different from what you learned at Karnavati University?
A: Yes, the work in the industry differs from what I have learned, but there is one thing that I can apply to the workplace with ease: the skills I learned in college about multitasking and managing deadlines are applicable in the workplace.
Q. How do you think your time at Karnavati University has added value to your life, both professionally and personally?
A: My time at Karnavati University has made me learn how to network, communicate, understand different aspects and perceptive of consumers/ people/clients and able to adapt according to the situation and stay updated on current needs and the industry.
Q. What was your initial thought process when you joined Karnavati University?
A: I came across a great deal of new information and experienced a range of feelings about a new location, people, and how I will adapt to this entirely unfamiliar setting.
Q. You must have spent a memorable time at Karnavati University. Do you miss being a part of it? Share a few good memories.
A: Indeed, I miss being a student at Karnavati University. After college, hanging out with friends, making impromptu plans, serving on the council, organising events etc.
Q. Briefly take us through your life at the campus, the activities you used to do and your routine life.
A: I complete my work during class hours, play basketball with pals, and occasionally attend council, event, or exhibition meetings.
Q. Apart from academics, what were the other activities you were involved in and how did it enrich your life?
A: The Student Governing Council assisted with networking, communication, event hosting, and full event planning.
The exhibition assisted in the design of installations and layouts, as well as in understanding the value of work and how to complete tasks on time or earlier. Playing basketball promoted discipline in many facets of life.
Q. How did you keep updated with the industrial requirements and what was the role of the institute in it?
A: Gaining knowledge from superiors and co-workers. Keeping my employment profile current and doing the responsibilities that have been delegated to me. As I said, the institute encouraged me to be vulnerable, ask for assistance, and take advice from those around me.
Q. You are a proud alumnus of Karnavati University. What is the best part of Karnavati University from a student's perspective?
A: The management and the student community. The way the institute makes you feel at home and is always available to you. Events that support your skill development outside of your topic of study.
Q. What is your suggestion/guidance for the aspirants?
A: The training I did is in an area where you may hone your general creative, design talents, and assist with different business, product development, and sales aspects.
I will advise you to determine your area of interest, consider all of your possibilities, and then decide whether to enroll in the course. Always experiment and explore yourself to try new things before making any decisions, whether they are professional or personal.

Yes it is. I can tell you this through a personal experience. My sister has been a student here. And we as guardians are very happy with the progress that she has made. I would really not like to draw any comparisons but I can tell you that Karnavati University is one of the best when it comes to management courses. The best part is that they also have a PGDM course. So the faculty structure and the placement cell are very strong because of the masters course here. I can assure you with all my heart that choosing KU for BBA course will be a good decision for the aspiring candidate in your family or friend or kin circle.
