Eligibility Criteria

UG Courses

BDS

As per the NEET eligibility criteria, provided by NTA.

B.Sc (Nursing)

Minimum 17 years and maximum 23 years of age.

Must qualify Class 12 with 50% score in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

B.Tech

Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2001. A minimum of 60% is required in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 55% score in all these subjects individually.

MBBS

As per the NEET eligibility criteria, provided by NTA.

B.Pharm

Candidate’s age should fall between 17 to 23 years. Minimum of 50% score is required in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

B.Sc (Allied Health Sciences)

Candidates must be 17 to 23 years of age. The minimum required marks in the qualifying examination depends on the branch candidate is opting.

BAMS

The eligibility criteria laid down by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) will be applicable.

B.Com

Class 12 qualified candidates with a minimum of 50% score in aggregate are eligible for BCom courses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission. Candidates with computer knowledge will be preferred.

BBM

Class 12 qualified candidates with a minimum score of 50%.

BCA

Candidates who have qualified Class 12 with at least 50% are eligible for BCA courses of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission.

B.Sc (Biotechnology)

Qualify Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

B.Sc (Microbiology)

Pass in Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology.

B.Sc (Visual Media)

Pass in Class 12 with a minimum score of 50%.

BA (Communication)

Pass Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.

BA (English)

Candidates should qualify Class 12 with a minimum of 55% marks in English.

Five year Integrated Courses

MA English

A minimum score of 605 should be obtained in BA English.

M.Sc (Chemistry)

Candidates should have qualified BSc Chemistry with a minimum score of 60%. The degree should be obtained from a recognised Institution or University. Mathematics should be studied in undergraduate as an ancillary subject.

M.Sc (Physics with Minor in Scientific Computing)

Pass in Class 12 with an aggregate score of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics.

M.Sc (Chemistry)

Candidates should have qualified BSc Chemistry with a minimum score of 60%. The degree should be obtained from a recognised Institution or University. Mathematics should be studied in undergraduate as an ancillary subject.

M.Sc (Mathematics with Minor in Data Science)

Qualify Class 12 with 50% marks in Mathematics.

M.Sc (Data Science)

Candidates who have qualified Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

PG Courses

M.Sc (Bioinformatics)

Graduate degree in any discipline of science including Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Candidates with a background in Mathematics or Computer Science are preferred for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Admission.

MSc Molecular Medicine

Graduate degree in any discipline of Life Sciences or B.Tech in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/or MBBS/BDS/B.Pharm with at least 60% marks.

MTech

Minimum 60% marks in B.Tech/Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Applications/PSU.

M.Sc (Biotechnology)

Graduation in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine or equivalent. Candidates with Background in Biology will be given preference.

M.Sc (Nanomedical Sciences)

Graduate degree in any discipline of Physics/Chemistry/Materials/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Zoology or B.Tech in Engineering (Chemical/Biomedical/Biotechnology etc) or MBBS/ BDS/ B.Pharm with at least 60% marks.

MCom

Graduates in BCom/BBM/BBA/BSc Banking with a minimum of 50% marks will be eligible for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission 2022 MCom course.

M.Sc Physics

BSc degree in Physics qualified with a minimum of 60% and Mathematics should be studied as an ancillary subject.

M.Sc (Microbiology)

Graduate degree in any discipline of Biological Sciences, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine or equivalent. Background in Biology will be preferred for admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

M.Sc (Chemistry)

BSc degree in Chemistry obtained from a recognised university qualified with a minimum of 60% marks and Mathematics as one of the ancillary subjects.

M.Sc (Mathematics)

Candidates should have qualified BSc in Mathematics with a minimum score of 60%.

M.Sc (Applied Statistics & Data Analytics)

Candidates should have obtained any of the following degrees with a minimum of 60% score- BSc Mathematics/Statistics or B.Tech in Computer Science.

MD

MBBS degree recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) with qualifying percentile/score in NEET PG. Candidates should be registered with MCI or any other State Medical Council. The one-year compulsory internship should be completed by the candidate while these candidates will be required to produce their registration certificate by the admission time

MS

MBBS degree recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) with qualifying percentile/score in NEET PG. Candidates should be registered with MCI or any other State Medical Council. The one-year compulsory internship should be completed by the candidate while these candidates will be required to produce their registration certificate during the admission process.

MD (Ayurveda)

The eligibility criteria will be laid down by CCIM and the Ministry of AYUSH.

MS (Ayurveda)

The eligibility criteria will be laid down by CCIM and the Ministry of AYUSH.

DM

The eligibility criteria for NEET SS PG 2022 will be applicable.

MCh

The eligibility criteria for NEET SS PG 2022 will be applicable.

MDS

BDS degree recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI) with qualifying percentile/score in NEET MDS. Candidates should be registered with DCI or any other State Medical Council. The one-year compulsory internship should be completed and these candidates will be required to produce their registration certificate at the time of admission

M.Sc (Nanoscience & Nanotechnology)

Graduate degree in any discipline of Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science or B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Chemical/Mechanical/Materials Science Engineering with at least 60% marks.

M.Sc (Nursing)

Pass in BSc Nursing or Post Basic BSc Nursing with 55% marks. In addition, one year of work experience after obtaining State Nursery Council registration.

M.Sc (Allied Health Sciences)

Eligibility criteria vary from discipline to discipline. A graduate degree in the particular discipline in which the candidate is applying is a must.

M.Pharm

Candidates should have completed B.Pharm with at least 50% score in all the subjects of the course starting from second to the fourth year. Candidates who have qualified GPAT will be given preference. GPAT qualified candidates will also be eligible to receive the monthly stipend as per the norms of AICTE.

Pharm D. (PB)

Pass in B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% score in all the subjects of the course from second to the fourth year. GPAT qualified candidates will be preferred and will be eligible to receive a monthly stipend as per the norms of AICTE.

Pharm D

Candidates should be between 17 to 23 years of age. Qualify Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. A minimum of 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry in aggregate is required.

Candidates are also required to pass in D Pharm course from an institution recognised by Pharmacy Council of India.

MHA

Candidates who have completed BSc Life Sciences/MBBS/BDS/BSc Nursing/B.Pharm/BSc Allied Health Sciences will be eligible. It is required of candidates to score a minimum of 50% in their UG examination. Preference will be given to those candidates who have qualified in hospital oriented subjects.

MPH

Candidates who have completed MBBS/BDS/BSc Nursing/B.Pharm/Physiotherapy/Allied Health Sciences/Biomedical Engineering/Bachelor’s in AYUSH courses/Pharm D/BSc Social Science from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% will be considered. Candidates with experience in the health field will be preferred. The upper age limit to apply for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham admission MPH course is 40 years.

MBA

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and qualify an aptitude test.

MBA-MS

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% score is required.

EMBA-MS

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% score. Further, a minimum of two years of work experience is required.

MA (Philosophy)

Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum score of 50% are required.

MA (English)

A minimum of 60% score in BA English is required for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham 2022 admission.

MA (Communication)

Pass undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks.

MCA

Candidates should hold a degree in BSc (IT/Computer Science) or BCA with a minimum score of 60%. In addition, the candidate should have studied Mathematics in Class 12 or in graduation.

MSW

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university.
