TUEE Exam 2026: Registration, Exam Date, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern, Result

Candidates are advised to go through the TUEE eligibility criteria 2026 before applying for admissions. Students must qualify in the TUEE 2026 exam to be eligible for admissions. Aspirants should meet the TUEE 2026 eligibility criteria to be eligible for admissions. Students must have a minimum of 50% in their undergraduate degree from any recognised institution to be eligible for admissions.

For the candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into Integrated M.Sc Chemistry need to possess minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects and pass mark in English.

Candidates seeking admission in Physics via TUEE need to obtain minimum 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry in 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects andpass mark in English.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into Integrated M.Sc programme need to score minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects and pass marks in English. 

Those appearing in the entrance examination to seek admission into M.Sc. in Mathematics, need to possess Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Statistics in 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects and pass mark in English.

For the ones seeking admission into Integrated M.Sc into  Bioscience and Bioinformatics need to score minimum 60% aggregate marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Mathematics subjects in 10+2 examination with minimum pass marks in individual subjects and pass mark in English.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into MA Cultural Science need to possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least second class in Major subject. Candidates having no major / honors, must have a minimum of 45% marks.

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission in Communication for Development need to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks with or without Major/Honours.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into MA in Social Work need to have a graduate in any discipline with 45% marks in major.

For the ones appearing in TUEE exam to seek admission in MA in Education, they need to possess a bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks. 

Candidates appearing in TUEE exam to seek admission in MA in English need to possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks in major/honours in English. Candidates not having major/honours must have at least 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English. 

For the ones appearing in TUEE to seek admission into MA in Linguistics and Language Technology need to have a B. A. with honours in Linguistics/ English/ any allied subject with a minimum of 45% marks, or B.A. with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks.

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission into MA in Linguistics and Endangered Languages need to possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% marks in Major or 50% marks without Major.

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission in MA in Hindi need to possess a bachelor’s Degree with Major/ Honours in Hindi from a recognized University or Bachelor’s degree with Hindi as an elective subject having at least 50% of marks in aggregate.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into Mass Communication and journalism need to possess a bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in Major/ Honours. Candidates not having Major/ Honours must have at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into MA in Sociology need to have a bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks in Sociology major/honours or in any subject offered as major/honours. Candidates not having major/honours must have 50% marks in aggregate.

Aspirants of  TUEE entrance test to seek admission into M.Com need to possess a B. Com. degree with minimum of 50% marks in major/honours. Mathematics at degree level is desirable.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into M.Sc Chemistry need to have a bachelor’s degree with major/ honours in Chemistry subject with a minimum of 45% marks and having Physics and Mathematics as subsidiary subjects.

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission in M.Sc in Maths need to possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks in major/honors, either Mathematics or Statistics. Candidates with Statistics major/honours must have Mathematics as a subsidiary course with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates not having major/honors must have 50% marks in aggregate as well as in Mathematics.

Aspirants of TUEE to seek admission in M.Sc in Physics need to possess a B.Sc. degree with minimum of 50% marks in major/honours in Physics having Mathematics as one of the subsidiary subjects. Candidate not having major/honours must have 55% marks in aggregate and in Physics.

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission in M. Sc. in Environmental Science need to have a  B.Sc. degree in Physical/Biological/ Earth and Environmental Sciences as major/ honours with minimum of 50% marks. Candidates not having major/honours must have at least 55% marks in aggregate.Or, B.Sc. (Agri.) with at least 6.0 CGPA in 10 point scale or equivalent. Or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Medicine with 55% marks or equivalent grade points. 

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology need to possess a bachelor’s degree in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering/ Technology, four years B.S. programme (Physician Assistant course) or Medicine, MBBS or BDS with a minimum 55% marks in major/honours or aggregate. Those who have passed the qualifying examination before 2 years from the date of announcement of admission are not eligible.

Candidates appearing in TUEE to seek admission into Master of Tourism and Travel Management need to possess a bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 45% marks in major/honours. Candidates not having major/honours must have 50% marks in aggregates

Aspirants of TUEE seeking admission in Master’s of Law (LLM) need to have a bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of 50% marks.

The Tezpur University will begin the TUEE 2026 application process in March. Students are required to fill and submit TUEE application form 2026 before the deadline to register successfully. The university will begin TUEE correction window 2026 in May. Applicants who have made mistakes/errors in the TUEE application form 2026 can edit their applications during the TUEE 2026 application correction window. TUEE 2026 registration will be conducted entirely in online mode. Candidates can get access to the application form of TUEE 2026 in online mode by paying a fee of Rs. 1000/- per candidate (Rs. 500/- for SC, ST and PWD candidates). Applicants need to register using the 'New Registration' button. Candidates are also needed to attach some of the documents along with the TUEE application form as mentioned below:

• Copy of the permanent residence certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority of any
  North East State if applying for M.Sc. Programme in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology under the North East quota.

• Copy of the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority, if seeking admission under any reserved category as mentioned.

• Copy of the Sponsorship/ No Objection Certificate issued by the employer, if the candidate is employed

• A passport size photograph.

• Scanned copy of the signature.

• EWS and OBC(NCL) Category Certificate

• Income Certificate

How to Apply to Tezpur University?

Before applying to Tezpur University, candidates must check the TU eligibility and intake for each programme.

• The Tezpur Admission cum Counselling Form (ACF) is available at the TU admission portal.

• Candidates must register online and collect their login ID and password.

• Candidates must fill out the ACF and make the payment of the TU admission fees in online mode.

• Candidates can apply for up to 3 programmes with a single TU application form.

• Candidates can register for a maximum number of 2 PhD programmes at different departments.

• Candidates will not receive any application by courier or post.

Candidates appearing in TUEE are provided two hours duration to attempt the TUEE examination. There will be multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each with 0.25 of negative marking. For the Departments under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences , question papers consist of 60 multiple choice questions and descriptive questions of 40 marks. In the case of PhD programmes under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, there will be 40 MCQs and descriptive questions of 60 marks. MCQs in the question paper are divided into 4 sections.

Candidates shortlisted for appearing in TUEE were intimated separately through e-mail/ SMS in their registered e-mail IDs/ mobile numbers to download their admit cards. No candidates will receive the admit card by the post.

TUEE 2026 Exam Centers

The Tezpur University will release TUEE 2026 answer key in June. Students can access TUEE answer key 2026 by using their login credentials on the official website. The TUEE answer key 2026 will be released in a pdf format. Candidates facing any issue with the provisional answer key can raise/object during TUEE answer key 2026 objection window. Applicants must submit their objections against TUEE answer key 2026 before the deadline. 

Tezpur University will announce the TUEE 2026 result in July. Candidates who have appeared in the Tezpur University Entrance Test can check the TUEE result 2026 in the online mode on the official website of the university. Only those candidates who are able to qualify for the Tezpur University admission process are eligible for admission to the further round of admission. TUEE results are announced in the form of a merit list.

Documents Required for TUEE 2026 Counselling

• Pass certificates of all examinations

• Mark sheets/grade cards of all examinations  

• PRC of NE state in case of the candidates of M. Sc in MBBT programme only.

• A character certificate

• Valid SC/ST /OBC-NCL/ EWS/Persons with Disability (PWD) certificate issued by the competent authority

• Latest OBC Non-creamy Layer certificate issued by the competent authority for the candidates claiming admission against OBC- NCL seats.

• Certificate of HSLC / class 10/class 10+2 having a date of Birth

• Permanent Resident Certificate of any of the NE states

• Sponsorship Certificate/NOC from the employer in case the candidate is sponsored /Employed
