The Education Department, Government of Gujarat started the GCAS 2025 admission process for various UG and PG programmes on March 25. The admission process of GCAS starts with filling the application form at GCAS portal, choice filling and release of merit list. The students are selected for the GCAS admission 2025 based on their previous qualifying examination marks.
Students will be able to complete their quick registration on the GCAS portal free of cost for admission into 15 state Government Universities and their affiliated Government, Grant-in-Aid and Self-Financed Colleges, and University Departments. The GCAS portal 2025 is open for students seeking admission to UG and PG courses offered by State Government universities of Gujarat. The GCAS admission process is based on the preference order of the candidates. The detailed admission process of GCAS 2025 are explained below:
Step 1: Form Filling
To start the GCAS admission process, candidates first need to fill out the registration form on the GCAS portal. The form filling process involves paying a GCAS application fee, providing academic and basic details and selecting their preferred colleges or universities.
Step 2: Form Verification
After filling the GCAS 2025 application form, candidates need to print out the form and keep all the necessary documents. Candidates should visit the verification centre and check the status of the GCAS application form.
Step 3: Merit List Announcement
Following the GCAS 2025 verification process, the participating universities will prepare a merit list. The GCAS merit list will be released on its portal.
Step 4: Offer Confirmation
If candidates are shortlisted on the GCAS 2025 merit list, they will get an admission offer from the selected college. To confirm the seat, aspirants need to enter an OTP sent to their registered mobile number to verify.
Step 5: Reporting at College
After confirming the GCAS admission offer, candidates should report to the college or university. They should submit necessary documents as per the institution's guidelines.
Candidates need to pay Rs. 300 while filling the GCAS application form. This fee is applicable for all the applicants studying graduation. Postgraduation, diploma and others. The GCAS application fee should be paid after filling the application form. The application fee of GCAS is non refundable.
The GCAS 2025 portal is open for all the candidates seeking admission to academic programmes at State Government Universities of Gujarat. Fresh school-leavers and graduates are also eligible to apply for GCAS 2025. Candidates should meet the GCAS eligibility criteria to start their application process.

If you have got selected based on your examination cut off in any particular government college then after registering yourself and making sure that you have to join that college you have to go for document verification rounds and then the time of reporting to the college for admission is allotted to you.
You report to the college at that given date and time you complete or the formalities and your admission has been now successful after you pay the college fees.
