Careers360: Tell us something about yourself.
Answer: I am Aditya Bhardwaj, a pharmacy graduate aiming to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. My keen interest in the digital transformation of the healthcare industry helped me be armed with specific technical skills that enabled me to understand and implement my present knowledge.
Careers360: How did you come to choose your institution/university and what factors were instrumental in your choice?
Answer: For me, an institution should be collaborative, supportive, and motivating, and Chitkara University covered all three of these aspects. Opting for Chitkara University Punjab, I end up on a picture-perfect campus with excellent infrastructure and supportive and encouraging mentors, and I feel blessed to be here.
Careers360: What were the salient features of your admission process at your institution/university that struck you as unique?
Answer: The admissions process at Chitkara University was very good and seamless. Being a newbie to this university, I never felt overburdened in any aspect. The admissions personnel were very humble and suggested and guided me to opt for the right program based on my interests and aptitude.
Careers360: What is your take on the initial days at your institution/university campus considering that it is the time to build contacts, understand the processes? Could you give details on the support given by the institute?
Answer: In the initial days of the commencement of classes, I felt very involved and informed of the processes. My mentors helped me with all aspects and supported me whenever I was stuck (which is natural in a new environment). Being a part of a professional MBA program, we were first guided to build our digital signatures for the emails. Also, in the initial days when I was not able to navigate the places properly, security guards and the university staff helped me a lot (as the university campus is massive). The students, both counterparts and seniors, were really friendly and helpful.
Careers360: Now that you are a part of your institution/university campus, what in your opinion are stand apart features of the institute that you think are really assets to building a student’s career and future?
Answer: The robust curriculum and the modular system of the MBA are the best parts of this university's great infrastructure. When I joined the MBA Healthcare Management programme, I didn’t know much about the healthcare industry, the current trends, or the new upcoming technologies. Here we were exposed to industry experts who shared their vast experience and made our thought process more dynamic. The university has a very dynamic atmosphere.
Careers360: Could you give details on the industry connection that is inbuilt with the course at Chitkara University and its advantages?
Answer: In MBA Healthcare Management, there is a very strong connection with industry experts. In each module, we experience an immense flow of knowledge and expert advice from industry experts.
Careers360: How advantageous in your opinion is your institution/university alumni network connection and in which ways?
Answer: The Chitkara University alumni network is very strong and robust, it's called CAN. We get to interact with our alumni through seminars and workshops that they conduct on campus from time to time, which is also a great reference point for job openings.
Careers360: Internships are an integral part of any student’s life. Please talk about the internship process at your institution/university and how they lead to students being placement ready.
Answer: Here in Chitkara, the Career Advancement Team (CAT) is working day and night to connect with the leading industries on campus for internships. They also run a program called "Connecting the Dots," which invites and brings leading industries to the campus, creating great opportunities for us.
Careers360: In a nutshell, could you sum up your experiences at your institution/university?
Answer: In a nutshell, my experience in the MBA Healthcare Management course has truly been life-changing for me. The dynamic and skill-based course curriculum design has been instrumental in providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry. The curriculum has been designed to equip students with practical knowledge and real-world experience that can be applied immediately in the workplace. The course content is structured to cover a wide range of topics, from healthcare information technologies to strategic planning and leadership in healthcare organizations. Moreover, I cannot speak highly enough about the humble nature and helpful behaviour of our teachers and mentors. They are approachable, knowledgeable, and passionate about healthcare management. Their guidance and support have been invaluable throughout my time in the program. I have learned so much from them, and they have truly helped me grow both personally and professionally.
I also got the opportunity to represent my batch as the head class representative. I have had the chance to work closely with the faculty and staff to ensure that our voices were heard and that our needs were addressed. I have seen first-hand how the program leadership values feedback and is committed to improving the learning experience for students. In conclusion, I highly recommend the MBA Healthcare Management course to anyone looking to advance their career in healthcare. The dynamic course curriculum design and the humble nature and helpful behaviour of the program leadership have made this an unforgettable experience.
