In a unique alliance to build on the growing technical textiles and composites industries, Ahmedabad University and Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association (ATIRA) have collaborated to advance education, research & development and provide services in the domain. One of the biggest drivers of this collaboration will be a one-of-its-kind two-year Master of Technology programme in Composites offered at the School of Engineering and Applied Science, Ahmedabad University. Through the technical expertise and facilities of both institutions, the M.Tech in Composites will provide a firm grounding in advanced mechanics, design, manufacturing, and testing related to composite components and structures. Followed by a year-long industry-based thesis on an applied topic of real-world interest, which will make industry-ready graduates.

Sunil Kale, Dean, School of Engineering and Applied Science, said “This collaboration will strengthen academics at Ahmedabad University, and faculty and students participating at ATIRA will provide robust support to the process of research, development, and outreach. Ahmedabad University’s incubator, VentureStudio, will facilitate the incubation of composites-based start-ups. The collaboration addresses the need to strengthen the quality of workforce and infrastructure in the space of technical textiles and composites.”

ATIRA and Ahmedabad University have also initiated joint research and development projects and have ambitious plans to set up state-of-the-art facilities for designing, analysing, manufacturing, and testing composite components and structures, among others.

Public health includes all organised measures to prevent disease, promote health, prolong life among the population, and provide conditions where people can be healthy using large population-based perspectives and approaches.

Education, research, and health promotion are all central to the School of Public Health, Ahmedabad University and will be more effective when integrated with each other around common goals. The long-term goals for education are to develop comprehensive and innovative interdisciplinary programmes. The initial focus of education programmes will be epidemiology, environmental health, and data science.

The BxMx Programme, Ahmedabad University

Ahmedabad University has launched a new programme The BxMx Programme. This programme will offer students a new approach to planning their graduate education right at the undergraduate level. The BxMx Programme also aligns with the guidelines of New Education Policy 2020 Ahmedabad University announced three The BxMx programmes (Dual Degree) starting from August 2023, they are given below:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Economics/ History/ Philosophy, History and Languages/ Psychology/ Social and Political Sciences)- Master of Business Administration

  • Bachelor of Technology (Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering)- Master of Business Administration

  • Bachelor of Science (Computer Science/ Mathematical and Computational Sciences/ Physics)- Master of Science in Quantitative Finance

Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit university in Gujarat, India, set up in 2009 by the Ahmedabad Education Society.

It comprises three schools and five centres with opportunities for interdisciplinary scholarship.

All the departments and colleges set up at Ahmedabad University cut off on a yearly basis.

It is determined based on the reservation categories and the availability of the seats.

Students applying must follow the admission cut off to be eligible for admission. The entrance examination accepted for UG and PG courses is MAT and GUCET respectively.

For B.Tech , candidates have to appear and qualify the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) /Gujarat Common Entrance Test ( GUJCET ).

  • Eligible candidates have to fill an application form available on the website of AU.
  • 50% of seats will be directly filled on the basis of the marks scored in the JEE Main Exam.
  • The remaining seats will be filled through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for which the candidates have to do the online registration for the admission.
  • Admission will be offered to the candidates after choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment

And according to 2019,

the cut off in General category:

  • 9k for Chemical
  • 1.3k for CSE
  • 8k for Mechanical

Since you want admission is SEAS ahmedabad university, you have to clear gujcet to get admission that college.

And according to last year cutt off in ews category your rank should be around

1) 12k for mechanical

2) 14k for chemical

Eligibility for BCom is passed 10+2 from a recognized board, candidates belonging to both science stream/commerce stream are.eligible to apply for this course. Admission is done based on the entrance test UGAT, final selection is done on UGAT score followed by counselling by the university.

Yes, you can definitely get ahmedabad university as for that you must have cleared jee mains and have physics , chemistry, mathematics and english in your 12th as subjects. 50% aggregate of marks in 12th.
