The University of Delhi takes the following factors into consideration while they prepare for the Seventh cut off of DU.

• Best of Four Subjects – The aggregate of the highest marks in any four subjects of the qualifying 10+2 board exam

• Number of Applicants – The total number of applications received for the programme

• Number of Seats – The total number of seats offered in the colleges for the programme opted

• Programme – The undergraduate programme for which the candidate has applied for

Admission Process after DU Seventh Cutoff 2022

DU admission process will be conducted in the following way after the university releases the DU 7th cut off 2022.

Step 1: Candidates have to check in order to make sure that they qualify the cut-off of their preferred programmes and colleges where they are willing to take admissions. If candidates meet the cutoff, they have to log in to the admission portal of the university - du.ac.in and choose the appropriate course and college in order to generate the application form for admission.

Step 2: Enter the below-mentioned documents respectively for the completion of the document verification process:

• Class X (High School) mark sheet

• Class X (High School) Board Examination Certificate

• Class XII (Senior Secondary) provisional certificate/ original certificate

• Class XII (Senior Secondary) mark sheet

• Conduct certificate

• Category (SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM) certificate

• OBC (non- creamy layer) certificate

• Transfer certificates

• Migration certificate from

• Two passport size self-attested photographs

Step 3: After the completion of the document verification process, candidates have to log in again to the admission portal in order to pay the Admission Fee in online mode using the correct link present there. After remitting the fee, the admission process to the particular college will be finished.

DU Admission Cancellation

In case, when candidate is willing to cancel the admission process the following steps have to be followed by the candidates:

• Visit the official website - du.ac.in

• Visit the admission portal and login using the existing login credentials

• Via the use of dashboard, cancel your admission online and pay the requisite admission cancellation/withdrawal fee

• Print the cancellation fee receipt and submit it to the college where candidates took admission and withdraw their original certificates.

Candidates need to follow the above mentioned in the DU admission process from steps 1 to 3, in order to take admission in some other desired course-college to finish the admission process. In the subsequent admission process, candidates have to remit only the balance fee to take admission in the new college. In case, candidates pay any extra amount then it will get refunded to their bank account post the final date of admission.
